Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculptor Park is a world class organization. It is rated in the top 30 must see places in the world in its class. It has a 24-foot-tall sculpture of Leonardo Da Vinci's horse titled "The American Horse" (below right). At Christmas time they have beautiful Christmas trees from around the world. In the spring Meijer Gardens has about 6,000 butterflies of 40 different species from around the world. They have a complete farm house and farm buildings with animal sculptures and much more. The landscaping on the 125 acre sculpture park is absolutely breath taking. It is like another Garden of Eden. We have been there many, many times and have taken friends with us. We have purchased gift memberships for friends. And then, this happens!

A MOMENTOUS MISTAKE HAS BEEN MADE.
Frederick Meijer Gardens brought in Jim Dine's sculptures of which one is "Wheat Fields" with a headless 24 inch statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Dine has several sculptures of twisted hand tools and some with ghoulish figurines.

Meijer Foundation is paying to bring in the Jim Dines display. The Foundation is funded by Meijer Grocery Market profits, where many Christians shoppers who buy their food, clothing, hardware, toys, sporting goods, electronics, etc. Meijer Grocery Markets has 195 stores in five states: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. Why would Meijer Foundation and Meijer Grocery Markets support such this blasphemous attack on the Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?

Meijer Gardens allows this blasphemous sculpture, which is a slap in the face of the many Christians who are included in the 700 tor 800 volunteers who work there. Why would Meijer Gardens insult the thousands of Christian visitors it receives each year? Why does Meijer Gardens insult it's many Christian donors who support it? We ask the Christian volunteers stop working until the "Wheat Fields" sculpture is removed.

PROTEST PROTEST PROTEST PRAY that this profane art piece is removed. You must pray and act to defend Jesus Christ from this blasphemy. Tell your family, friends, and relatives of this blasphemous art piece. Boycott the Meijer Market Stores, Meijer Gardens, and Meijer Foundation. Give a copy of this web page to the Meijer store managers and Meijer Gardens managers. Stop purchasing products from Meijer Stores. Stop volunteering at Meijer Gardens. And stop donating to Meijer Foundation until this blasphemous Sacred Heart Statue is removed.
