An unseen asteroid almost hit the earth...
An asteroid large enough to have flattened a city buzzed Earth earlier this month and was not seen until after if flew harmlessly by. The space rock approached Earth in the glare of the Sun, a blind spot that made it impossible to see during the day or night from any terrestrial vantage point. The event illustrates the potential of a surprise hit by an asteroid, astronomers said.
The object, now named 2002 EM7, was probably between 40 and 80 meters (130-260 feet) in diameter, said Gareth Williams, associate director of the International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center. On March 8, the asteroid passed within 298,400 miles (480,200 kilometers) of our planet, or about 1.2 times as far away as the Moon -- considered a relatively close shave by cosmic yardsticks. It was not discovered until March 12, however. After the rock was detected, scientists calculated its orbit and determined the path it had taken.
No Way to See It
In a telephone interview, Williams explained there was no way to see the asteroid until it moved out of the Sun's glare and to the opposite side of Earth in relation to the Sun -- Earth's night side. To spot such an object earlier would require a telescope elsewhere in space, he said. Ideas have been floated to put an observatory in orbit around Mercury, where it could observe the portion of sky that is not visible to terrestrial telescopes or even to Earth-orbiting observatories like the Hubble Space Telescope.
But a telescope at Mercury, given the likely limitations to its budget and size, would not be able to see asteroids as small as 2002 EM7. It could, however, spot large asteroids that might cause global destruction. No firm plans exist for a Mercury-orbiting telescope.
Meanwhile, few asteroids this large have ever been known to pass so close to Earth. Asteroid 2002 EM7 is the ninth closest brush known, said Williams, who helps with the Minor Planet Center's task of cataloguing all data on asteroids. "Of the objects that have come closer, only one is bigger," he said.
Months or years of warning have sometimes preceded close passes in the past. Other times, rocks have been found just days before they zoomed past. Williams adds that there have no doubt been many, many other close shaves by small asteroids that went entirely unnoticed because the objects zipped back out into the solar system without ever being detected.
Telescopes devoted to asteroid tracking scan just portions of the sky on any given night. Asteroid 2002 EM7 carves an elliptical path around the Sun. It has a remote chance of hitting Earth on a future pass, odds that will likely be reduced even further as researchers continue to track the object and refine their orbital calculations.
Another Blind Spot
Researchers have used similar close brushes in the past as opportunities to remind politicians that many potentially threatening asteroids remain undiscovered and more money is needed to find them. About 1,000 asteroids larger than 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) are thought to lurk in orbits that might one day threaten Earth with planet-wide chaos. About 500 of them have been found. The bulk of search efforts are conducted in the United States, much of it financed by NASA in a Congressionally mandated program. Somewhat like the blind spot created by the Sun, skies below the equator are poorly surveyed, though in that case it is due to the fact that no telescopes are devoted to the task.
A recent plea by scientists to the Australian government to fund a search of the southern skies fell on unsympathetic ears, however. Australian science minister Peter McGauran said he was not convinced the threat of impact was real enough to warrant spending government money. Williams, of the Minor Planet Center, stressed that no amount of searching, north or south, would have spotted 2002 EM7.
The

An exaggerated form of the star...
Veronica - Right now I see a large star up
above the tall tree at the right side of the banner. Now this star is growing
very large, an exaggerated form of the star. But oh, I can see why because the
star now is covering the whole area of the trees, beyond the trees and down
towards us; it seems to be increasing in velocity or whatever you want to call I
it, this expansion of the star. (6-18-94)
A Star shall be sent upon you...
Veronica - Jesus says to watch carefully. I see
what appears to be a huge star. It looks like a star. I'm not familiar with
them. I know it's something celestial. A huge star - and it's coming over very
fast across the sky.
Now I see another star. It looks like the moon - not a star - the moon. And
I see this star - or this round - it's got a lot of rings around it: It's a huge
body with the rings around it. I don't know what that is - a star? Planet? And
it seems to be going crazy. It's jumping up and down and jiggling, going back
and forth. And now, all of a sudden, it's shooting out, right into space and
it's heading over across the sky. Oh! If it keeps going it's going to bump into
the moon! Oh, my goodness! Oh!
It looks like - this thing - this star just seemed to come from out of
nowhere. It seemed to have shot right out into space and it's heading for, it
looks like the moon. yes.
And now as it's getting closer I notice it's very red. It's no longer white.
It looked white before but now it looks very red. And, oh, my goodness! It looks
like the ball again! Oh, my goodness! It's red and orange. It looks - from here
now - very hot. I can see it very closely. Oh, my!
And now it's going past the moon. No, it's not hitting the moon. But it
looks like it's heading for the sun! Oh, my goodness! It looks like...It looks
like two big balls; like two suns in the sky. Oh, my goodness! Oh!
Now Michael is coming over on the left side.
Jesus - "My child, the ball you see, is out in your atmosphere. Man
of science is ever seeking but never finding the truth.
"They have cast aside the knowledge of the supernatural. However, no human
mind can understand the ways of the Eternal Father Who controls your elements.
"A star shall be sent upon you. I have asked in the past to hold back this
time of great trial to mankind by following the direction of My Mother."

The Ball of Redemption A Supernatural Manifestation...
Our Lady - "The Ball of Redemption hovers
closer to your world. It is not an ordinary celestial star, My child. It is a
supernatural manifestation performed by the Eternal Father. It will be a
chastisement such as mankind has never seen before nor will ever see again. Many
will die in the great flame of the Ball of Redemption.
"My child, take no account of those who will seek to stop your mission by
accusations to the world from their ministry saying that you have started a
crusade, a campaign of fear." (4-7-76)
The Chastisement From Heaven...
Veronica - I see a large ball of fire. It's
traveling very fast. It's growing larger as it's coming closer. As it comes.. as
it's twirling through the space I see there are stars falling...I think they're
stars. There are stars falling about it. And the ball is very hot now; it's
moving very fast. It's now going over behind the moon. The moon now looks green
on one side. Part of it seems to be melting. Oh. It's twirling very fast, over
on the right side; it's like a burning star. It looks almost like the fourth of
July; like a sparkler, only very red and orange.
Now as it comes closer it's very, very hot. The ball looks white, like white
heat. Now also something is breaking away from...it's like chunks of breaking
rock and heat. (3-27-73)
Beyond the farthest star...
Our Lady - "Out in your world, beyond the
farthest star visible to man's eyes is the instrument planned by the Father for
your chastisement. Pray! Pray, My children, a constant vigilance of prayer now
until the moment of darkness." (6-16-73)
The Ball Of Fire...
Veronica - Now Jesus is pointing up to the sky. Oh,
He wants me to - oh, there's that Ball again! That! oh, it's very large. It's a
ball of fire, and it has a - oh, I can see the tail very clearly now. It's a
long, orange tail. It's really a fiery red. It's very, very hot - looking. Now
that - it's really hurtling through the sky; it's just - zing, like that.

Scientists will not stop the Ball...
Jesus - "Many warnings have been given to mankind,
and they pass by unnoticed and rejected. Scientists with all of their
explanations for the catastrophe set upon mankind! Will your men of science find
a way to stop the Ball of Redemption? I say unto you: No! for the Eternal Father
shall guide that ball!" (5-30-78)
Soon the earth will shake, houses will crumble and
fall...
Our Lady - "Parents, reject now your
worldly pursuits for power, moneys, material gatherings. They are worthless! For
soon the earth will shake, houses will fall and crumble, gold and silver shall
be melted in the tremendous heat of the Ball of Redemption. They will be naught
to you all, as nothing to mankind.
"Your only covering shall be prayers and your acts of sacrifice. So gather
now your treasures for Heaven, for everything upon earth shall be leveled!"

Two suns on your horizon...
Jesus - "It is a sad fact, but one that cannot be
escaped, but held in abeyance by the prayers and acts of atonement of the few -
it is a sad fact that two great penances shall be set upon mankind: a scourge of
war and the Ball of Redemption. How soon, you ask? Does it matter when a time?
Are you prepared now? It will fast come upon you unexpectedly.
"There shall appear two suns on your horizon. Fear shall grip the hearts of
many, and this fear shall come from the knowledge that you rejected the warnings
from Heaven and did not act upon them." (12-7-76)
Scientists don't want to frighten mankind...
On June 18, 1991
Jesus said; "My child and My children, you will keep a constant vigilance of
prayer going throughout your world, because, I repeat again, near the throne of
the Eternal Father, He views a ball so immense, so beyond all mans
speculation, that it will destroy over three-quarters of the earth. It is in
your atmosphere. It has been noticed by few, but the few seek not to bring fear
to the hearts of mankind. They do not know that it is the Eternal
Father who now will guide that Ball."
Punishment will be given in 3 stages:

punishment will be given in stages:
1. Internal - Man's own creation.
2. The Second from the elements.

blankets, food within your homes. The candles of those who have remained in the
state of grace shall not be extinguished, but the candles in the homes of those
who have given themselves to satan shall not burn! Amen I say to you: as night
follows day, a great darkness shall descend upon mankind." (6-12-76)
Crucifix upon their doors...
Veronica - I see a road. I see people fleeing,
their clothes are ragged. It seems as though they had been hit by some kind of
shrapnel, or something that's tearing the clothes off their bodies. But the
worst part of all is that beyond the roads I see bodies, dead bodies strewn all
over, in the streets, through the houses, in the lots. And I see the waters
aflame. And I see waters churning and churning, and rising higher and higher, as
they wash onto the shores that border the seas.
Jesus - "Yes, My child, in the great Chastisement a ball of fire
shall fall into the waters killing all that is living in the seas. And, also,
unfortunately, because they could not listen and change their ways, many will
die also from the flames and also from the waters. Those living along the
coastlines, We caution them to keep a sacramental and a crucifix upon their
doors, for the angel of death shall not enter your home." (7-1-85)

Our Lady - "Keep your sacramentals about your necks. I say about your necks,
not for decoration, but because many shall flee with only what they have on
their bodies! It is now a supernatural protection, My children, that you have:
your medals, your scapulars, and even your Rosary, your beads of prayer about
your neck, your children's necks and all those who wish to be saved.
"The monuments, the statues, must be kept in your homes. As it was in the
days of old, the angel of death shall pass by those who retain the monuments in
