Veronica - Oh, and I see that----Our Lady is showing me now--there are some kind of implements they're using that . . . it doesn't look like a gun, it looks like a flashlight, but I know it's not a flashlight. It's some object of some kind of a ray they've got. And then--now he's lifting--I see a man in a very odd-looking uniform; I don't recognize the uniform. But he's raising high, like this, this ray gun. That's what it is, it's a ray gun. And he's now pushing the trigger, and I see . . . it looks like long streams of light, but everything it hits just disintegrates and melts. [Veronica groans.] - July 25, 1985

One Apartment Out of 30 was Saved from a Fiery Destruction. Why?

Dear Our Lady of the Roses Shrine,

I have been going to Bayside for the Anniversary of Our Lady of the Roses, Mary, Help of Mothers, since June of 1989. I would like to share with you a personal experience during this last weekend. Last Sunday, March 24, 1996, at 3:00 A.M., there was a big fire on #601 O’Farrell, the building where I live, but I was not there. I slept at my sister’s place in South San Francisco, because the night before, we had a vigil over at Cora Tugade’s place.

When I went back to my apartment yesterday, Monday, March 25, 1996, with my older sister, and Fr. Sergio Santos, O.F.M., a Franciscan priest who was with us at Bayside during the Silver Anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of the Roses, Mary, Help of Mothers, the maintenance man came running to meet and said: “Your apartment is intact, but all around you is disaster! When I saw your apartment, the first thought that came to my mind was last week when you asked me to put a crucifix on top of your door, and I was thinking, maybe that did it!” My reply was: “Of course that was the reason! Would you want to put one on your door, too?” His answer was: “I’ll think of that.”

When I went up to my floor, this I saw, with my sister and Fr. Sergio Santos, O.P.M.:

2^nd floor…Apt. 210 - 215…disaster
3^rd floor…Apt. 310 . .... .no damage
3rd floor... Apt. 311-315….disaster
4^th floor...Apt. 410 - 415…disaster
5^th floor…Apt. 510 - 515...disaster
6^th floor…Apt. 610 - 615…disaster
7^th floor.…Apt. 710 - 715...disaster

I live on the third floor, Apt. 310: intact, except for some wet clothes. The burned carpet stopped at my door! Fr. Santos only said this is really a miracle. I could not say anything; I only felt very strong goose flesh. I have been telling my friends that in Bayside, the Blessed Mother keeps reminding us in all Her apparitions to put a crucifix outside our front and back doors.

Dear Bayside Shrine Workers,
A tornado passed through our town of Westlake, Louisiana early in the morning of January 13, 1995. No damage came to our house, but two trees fell down in my mother’s front yard. The electric light utility pole on my mother’s house broke during the storm, and a neighbor said he saw a big flash of fire spread right across the utility pole on to the top of my mother’s roof, but no damage came. The fire vanished almost immediately. My trailer was rocking with the wind, so was my grandmother’s trailer house, too, but no damage to either one of them. An electric fire also flashed over my grandmother’s trailer on the roof, but no damage.
My mother, my grandmother, and my sister--we all have blessed wooden crucifixes on the outside doors of our houses. We also have the blessed Rose Petals, the holy statues of Our Lady, and the Green Scapulars in our homes. We all give thanks to Our Lady of the Roses for sparing us any damages on our homes. Also, our Bayside group gets out the Bayside directives and the messages of Bayside in our area. We believe this work has spared our area from much disaster in the past of floods, tornadoes and storms.

Home Protected from Fire & Near Explosion

We live in a wooded area. One night we woke up to a smoldering fire which was on 2 sides of our home. We had two gasoline cans sitting by the edge of the wooded
area. The fire came to the cans and went out before they exploded and I know we were blessed by Jesus and Our Blessed Mother. We have crucifixes on all our doors.

Crucifixes on doors saves H & H Party Store in the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles...
On June 30, 1984, Jesus said: "And also, My children, I ask you again to place a crucifix upon your door. Both front and back doors must have a crucifix. I say this to you because there will be carnage within your areas, and this will pass you by if you keep your crucifix upon your doors."
    Let us now see the factual proof of Heaven’s protection, to those who follow Our Lady’s counsel. "H & H Store," in Paramount, California, suffered six broken windows, not including the broken glass front door. Nothing was taken. Owner Juliette Cota gratefully affirmed, "Nothing taken!   Not even a bar of soap!" A great mystery, considering several of the broken windows were large enough for the looters to easily pass through. So what was the difference? The owner had been warned by a local Bayside believer to put up a crucifix on the front door, and she did. A believer herself, she is now also telling others why her shop was spared. Her son, fearful of future riots, is desirous to sell the shop and move. Juliette, the mother and owner, confidently told us, "I am not afraid."
    Three blocks away, at the corner of Garfield Ave. and Alondra Blvd., was a different story. At a "Stop ‘n’ Go" shop at the corner of Jackson St. and Orange Ave. in Paramount, looters broke the windows and cleaned the store of $20,000 to $40,000 in merchandise, including freezers. One clerk there exclaimed, "Everything was taken!"  Two weeks later it was just starting to reopen again to customers.

Terrorist Fighting in Lebanon...

My home and lives were spared in terrorist activity. A bullet hit our house but no body was hurt. Thanks be to Jesus and Mary for saving us with the crucifixes on the outside of our outside doors.

3,500 homes were destroyed by fire...
Dear Veronica,
    I sent you a picture that I feel is a miracle of Our Lady of the Roses.   We have the picture, a beautiful statue of Our Lady of the Roses. On the outside, outdoors it is. As you know, we in Oakland, California, had a terrible disaster fire that destroyed 3,500 homes. I am enclosing this special statue picture. It was not touched by the fire, which destroyed all the homes in the block.   I feel this is a precious moment and a photo of the power of the Virgin Mary of the Roses. Now for our own home, three homes were destroyed by fire, all around ours.   Here is the whole thing. In your literature sent me, it was mentioned to place a crucifix on your doors, which I did. The fire destroyed our roof and some trees but our home was spared from destruction. I truly believe the Blessed Mother protected our home because all homes around us, in back of ours were completely destroyed.   I thought this was noteworthy, and please thank the Blessed Mother of the Roses in one of your visitations. I pass out all rosaries and scapulars I get and I am dedicated to serve the Blessed Mother and Jesus as long as I live.

More testimonies...
Many people have had their homes protected from disaster by having a crucifix on the outside of the outside doors.
    A lady in Brooklyn, New York, had her apartment protected from the fire in the apartment below her.
    Another lady near the Atlantic Ocean had her camping trailer protected with crucifixes on the doors when Hurricane Hugo came through South Carolina. No damage whatsoever when homes near were blown away. Even the lattice leaning against the bottom of her trailer was not washed or blown away.
    A gentleman from New Orleans reported his home was spared, when all his neighbors lost the roofs of their houses in a hurricane. He had one shingle missing and he thought that was gone before the storm.
    In the San Francisco earthquake, a lady was living on the second floor of an apartment building with crucifixes on the doors. After the earthquake, her apartment was on the first floor. The apartment below her lost everything. She didn't even have one dish break. The great power of the crucifix! Can you afford not to have crucifixes on your doors?
    In a raging fire in California the paint was burned off the side a home but it was spared. All other homes were destroyed.

Can you afford to be without crucifixes on the outside of your outside doors? The safety of our families and homes are threatened by crime, riots, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, and other natural disasters?

How many warnings must the Eternal Father send upon mankind before they will awaken and do penance?" (9-28-76)

What beauty shall you have when the fires are upon you?
Our Lady - "America the beautiful, what beauty shall you have when the fires are upon you? O My children, I repeat Myself over and over again to you, hoping in My Mother's heart that you will listen. The sheep are straying; the shepherds are lost." ( 5-18-77)

I see fires springing up...
Veronica - I see a huge globe now coming through the sky. It looks like a globe of the earth. Like pinpoints I see fires springing up. I don't understand it. It looks like the globe is on fire. (6-18-93)

Our Lady - "You will observe, My child, the fires that will rage across earth." (1-31-76)

Crucifix on front and back door... The only real protection against fires...
