"My child and My children, I come once
more with an urgent and pleading message to the hierarchy in the Church, My
Church upon earth. I want you to know now that We look upon you and find
many that do not fall into grace. They are falling out of grace and misleading
many of Our sheep.
"Therefore, I warn you now as your God: You will stop your
intricacies within My Church. You will stop experimenting. I gave
you the rules to follow many years ago, two thousand years approximately.
And why now, two thousand years later, do you deem it necessary to change My
Church upon earth? I, your God, say to you, you will be judged
accordingly. You will return My Church to its former glory, and in that
manner you will have more vocations and more entering the seminaries, and not
fleeing from them as they hear the heresies and all other innovations that are
going on within My Church. This is My last and final word to My clergy:
Change now or suffer a just punishment and banishment." - Jesus, June 18, 1986
A stir was made recently by Bishop Mariano Crociata's criticism of the shoddy quality of many Sunday homilies.
Crociata is the secretary general of the Italian bishops' conference. Speaking at a conference on the liturgy at the end of the year, he called many of the homilies given from the pulpit every Sunday insipid "mush," almost an "inedible dish," and in any case "hardly nourishing."
His criticisms were picked up by "L'Osservatore Romano" and by Vatican Radio. There were some who retrieved a quip Joseph Ratzinger made when he was a cardinal: "The miracle of the Church is that it survives millions of terrible homilies every Sunday."
As pope, Ratzinger has made it abundantly clear that he thinks one of the primary duties of the Church is to elevate the quality of the homilies.
The homilies that he gives himself at public celebrations have become a characteristic feature of his pontificate. He prepares them personally, with extreme care. In fact, he proposes them as a model. He even constructs the messages that he reads at the midday Angelus each Sunday, from his window over St. Peter's Square, as little homilies on the Gospel of that day's Mass.

SMOKE OF SATAN

PASTORS HELD RESPONSIBLE
"We hold the pastors of My Son's House, We hold
them as being responsible for the fall of the children. Be ye warned now, My
children, that woe to the man who has this responsibility upon his conscience
and his soul. Scandals have been brought into the lives of your children.
Perversion, homosexuality, immorality, perverted sex, My children-where shall

SAFEGUARD

BUCK-PASSER

hands and said: ‘This man is innocent; I see no wrong in him,’ however, in his
heart he knew of innocence but he feared reprisal from the crowd, My children;
he valued his life, he loved his sin, and he was too much involved with the

buck,’ each one not willing to admit his error or his participation in evil, but
