 ‘Occupy’ May Hold National Assembly In Philadelphia - History Repeats Itself...

"Your country, America the beautiful, shall know hunger. Your country, America the beautiful, shall know revolution. The just shall be crucified. Evil shall run rampant, My children. This curse upon mankind is allowed for the redemption of those few who shall be saved. My children, I have warned you through countless visitations upon earth to mend your ways that offend the Eternal Father very much.” – Our Lady, June 1, 1978 

Mayor Michael Nutter was reacting cautiously on Wednesday to word that national organizers of “Occupy Wall Street” and similar protests across the country plan to gather in Philadelphia next summer.

The plans are found in a document posted online by an “Occupy Wall Street” working group, titled “The 99 Percent Declaration.” The document proposes a National General Assembly to be held in Philadelphia starting on July 4th, 2012 and running through next October.

The proposal says the Assembly would operate similarly to the original “Committees of Correspondence” — the Founding Fathers who met in Philadelphia prior to what the group refers to as “the first American Revolution.”

It was not immediately clear if such a gathering will actually take place, but city officials are aware of the proposal and Mayor Nutter says he wants to talk about it with the organizers.

“I understand national Occupy would want to be in Philadelphia — this is birthplace of freedom, liberty, and democracy for the United States of America — so I look forward to a conversation,” Nutter told KYW Newsradio. “We need to better understand what it is they want to do, where and what it’s all about. But I welcome the discussion.”

Nutter says he would like to maintain the same open dialogue with the national organizers as he has with the local group now encamped on Dilworth Plaza.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia officials are warning those at the “Occupy Philadelphia” encampment that in about one month, they’ll have to relocate (see related story).

Rich Negrin, the city’s managing director, says he’s already informed “Occupy Philadelphia” participants that a long-planned renovation of Dilworth Plaza will proceed and they’ll have to move.

“Whatever date that is, which we believe to be mid-to-late November, they’re going to have to relocate.”

Negrin says they’re working with the protestors to agree on an alternate site, perhaps Thomas Paine Plaza outside the neighboring Municipal Services Building.

And what if they refuse to leave?

“We hope it doesn’t get there,” said Negrin. “That’s the kind of showdown that some folks would like. That’s a minority of the folks. In large part, they’ve been incredibly cooperative. (But) there are small groups who infiltrate the ranks, like the anarchists and others, who don’t care about the government, just care about chaos. Let’s hope those folks are not in the majority.”

Meantime, Negrin says the city is trying to resolve concerns about fire access and public hygiene at the current encampment.

“We’re worried about cleanliness; we’re worried about public urination. We’ve had conversations with them. They need to move the tents away from City Hall 20 feet, so we can have access.”

“Occupy Philadelphia” began assembling on Dilworth Plaza on October 6th.

[TLDM Editor's Note: This call for National Assembly is reminiscent of the events that led up to the French Revolution. In the 1770s, France was undergoing a financial crisis due to involvement in foreign wars (most notably the American Revolution). Louis XVI called the Estates-General in 1789. The Third Estate (the common people) called for the three Estates to be combined, giving them more power. The King refused and when the Third Estate (now renamed the National Assembly) arrived at the Palace of Versailles, they found the doors locked and the building surrounded by soldiers. They moved to a nearby tennis court. Here they took what was know as the Tennis Court Oath. In this oath, they agrees not to disband until they had reformed the government. Louis reluctantly allowed them into the government to placate them. Over time, their power grew until they controlled the country. They eventually executed the King, his family and many French citizens. History repeats itself]

Communist Rules for Revolution...

This article appeared in a recent issue of the California Legionnaire Chaplains’ Corner

I remembered a document which had fallen into my hands, a duplicate of one found by our Allied forces in May of 1919 at Dusseldorf, Germany which contained “Communist Rules for Revolution” which read as follows:

            A. Corrupt the young: get them away from religion. Get them interested in sex. Make them superficial; destroy their ruggedness.

            B. Get control of all means of publicity thereby:

            1. Get people’s minds off their government by focusing their attention on athletics,
                sexy books and plays and other trivialities.

            2. Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping
                on controversial matters of no importance.

            3. Destroy the people’s faith in their leaders by holding them up to contempt,
                ridicule and obliquity.

            4. Always preach true democracy, but, seize’ power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible.

            5. By encouraging government extravagance, destroy its credit,
                “produce fear of inflation with rising prices and general discontent.

            6. Foment unnecessary strikes in vital industries, encourage civil disorders
                and foster lenient and soft attitudes on the part of the government towards such disorders.

            7. By specious argument, cause the breakdown of the old moral virtues of honesty,
                sobriety, continence, faith in the pledged word.

            C. Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext with the view of confiscating them and leaving the population helpless.

If this was authentic in 1919 - today much of these goals have al ready reached far into maturity. Check each item in the with the actual situation today.  My prayer is: May God wake our Americans to realize w is happen and the source of our troubles - and do something about it.  We ‘don’t have too much time left.

Veronica - Our Lady now is touching Her first finger to Her lips. That means to listen and repeat. Our Lady is extending Her arm out now and pointing upwards to the sky. In the sky is appearing--oh, a hammer and a sickle. The hammer and the sickle now is lighting up in a bright red color.

A GREAT DARKNESS OF SPIRIT
