Nuns on the Bus Spread Their Liberal Agenda Around the Country with Financing from New World Order Bilderberg, George Soros...

What Does The Prayer Really Say? reported on July 5, 2012:

Quite a while ago now I posted an entry entitled Group funded by George Soros poised to attack US Bishops for the “Fortnight for Freedom”.

It seems that Soros was also involved with the Nuns On The Bus.  They were able to go ’round and ’round in their polluting bus because one of Soros’s tentacles backed them.

The Nuns On The Bus (NOTB) went ’round and ’round with a political agenda – attacking Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) under the usual left-winger mask of concern for the poor.

The best source for this is the blog Laetificat, which was an early and thorough reporter on the Nuns On The Bus.

Here is something interesting. Embedded with the NOTB was one Casey Schoeneberger who did their media relations.  She works for the lobby Faith In Public Life and before that with NETWORK.  AsLaetificat points out:

As Sr Mary Ann Walsh of the USCCB quoted from this page that has all the details, they are “a group founded with help from a pro-abortion group long directed by John Podesta called the Center for American Progress. . . (CAP); like the CAP it has received funding . . . from billionaire atheist  George Soros. . . . ”

And you will remember the concerns of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith that members of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR – a subsidiary of the Magisterium of Nuns) not be involved with NETWORK Lobby.

Laetificat also goes into the tall brush looking for FIPL’s connections.  Among them are ACORN and the Industrial Areas Foundation (i.e., Saul Alinksy).

On a different theme but still related to the NOTB, Laetificat also posted this:

On June 27th, Sr Simone [Campbell of NOTB and director of NETWORK] was interviewed by a reporter for Bill Moyers’ PBS show. Her reponse to “Tell us about your own personal journey. Who are  your greatest influences?” does not mention Jesus, or any Catholic leader. Her response to “What does being Catholic mean to you?” has only vaguely to do with Catholicism, but entails a rejection of the miracle of the loaves and fishes, in favor of a materialist interpretation of the story that George Soros would find entirely satisfying.

Fredericks: What does being Catholic mean to you?

Sister Simone: To me it’s that amazing history of spiritual practice, social engagement, witnessing to the fact that Jesus lives in our world now and says that there is enough if we share. The miracle of the loaves and fishes — one of the accounts says 5,000 men ate. Well, the reason they only counted the men was the women and children knew it was the women who had brought all the food! Only the guys thought it was a miracle, the women knew it was about breaking bread and sharing it. This isn’t biblical — this is just my interpretation of it, but to me the miracle was sharing.

Yikes. She’s right that isn’t Biblical. Neither is it Catholic.

Bishop Morlino Critiques Nuns On The Bus, Defends Rep. Paul Ryan...

Below is a clip from an interview with the great Bishop Robert Morlino (D. of Madison).

This week the Nuns on the Bus campaign, which has received lots of spittle-flecked positive coverage from the MSM, stopped in the Diocese of Madison in order to picket the offices of Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI – District 1 overlaps with the Diocese of Madison) in protest of Ryan’s budget plan. Bp. Morlino defends Cong. Ryan calling him a “responsible Catholic layman” who has created a budget “in accord with Catholic principles.” Bp. Morlino also calls out the Nuns on the Bus campaign, suggesting that the sisters should “witness holiness” “rather than busing around for political issues.”

Bishop Morlino is the first bishop to criticize directly Sr. Simone Campbell’s bus tour.

Most Rev. Robert Morlino in the interview:

“Congressman Ryan has made his prudential judgment about how best to serve the long term needs of the poor. He has done that in accord with Catholic principles. I don’t have to approve his decision, or his budget or anything else. What I do approve of is that he is a responsible Catholic layman who understands his mission and carries it out very responsibly. I feel very strongly about that. The details of his solution are not mine to approve or disapprove. That’s not my field. So, I would think that the religious sisters, though, should concentrate on giving that witness of holiness of all of the wonderful works that they do rather than busing around for political issues. Because, when anything happens like that, if I were to come out in a very political way, I would probably win more followers for the opposition. And, there are many Catholics who feel that very way about the sisters. They really don’t like this. They feel that, their expectation from the sisters is really not this kind of leadership.”

Pray for Bishops. They have their work cut out for them.

"My child, I wish you also to make note in your heart and the hearts of all mankind that I am much despaired, as Theresa, Our Little Flower, is much despaired at the lack of numbers in the nunneries. Vocations are needed for the priesthood, and also for the nunneries.

Please, My children, surely among you, those who hear My voice or will read this written word, can you not give your life to win your reward forever in Heaven? And perhaps also, those you love you can bring with you. So many little souls are crying. They thirst for the knowledge of Jesus and all of Heaven. Will you not solace them and comfort them in their loneliness? They are like sheep out in the wilderness, astray with no leaders. They are wandering. And what do they feast upon but weeds. No good nourishment is being given them. Will you not, My children, you who are children of the light, come forward and become nuns, nuns with good hearts, with a good foundation of the Faith and the truth, and nourish Our sheep?” - Our Lady of the Roses, June 18, 1982

MUCH DISPLEASED
Veronica - I'm looking into a room--it's a room, and I see some clothes piled over to the side. And I see some girls dancing; they're all standing by the side of the room and kicking up their feet. And they have leggings on, like black leotards. And Our Lady is now holding Her finger up, like this.
    Our Lady - "No, no! No, no! You are looking into the room of Our spouses of Christ. See, My child, what satan has done."
Veronica - Oh, they're nuns. Oh, my, but they're all doing some kind of modern dancing. Oh, now Our Lady has reached down and She's picked up a skirt. But Our Lady is holding the skirt like it disgusts Her.
    Our Lady - "They, My child, call this the habit."
    Veronica - Now Our Lady has put it down and She's placed Her feet over it, and She's stomped on it.
    Our Lady - "The snake writhers through the garments, My child."
    Veronica - Our Lady's not happy with the dresses worn in the convents. 
    Our Lady - "You must warn your sisters in the convents, My child, that the Father is much displeased by their actions. Their example is poor, and the doors will close on all convents that have given themselves over to the pleasures and lusts of the world.
