The Daily Jot by Bill Wilson reported on December 18, 2012:
On November 2, 1800, President John Adams moved into the White House. In a letter to his wife, he wrote: "I pray Heaven to bestow the best of blessings on this house, and on all that hereafter inhabit it. May none but honest and wise men ever rule under this roof!" On Saturday, December 15, 2012, US Marine Corps captain Matthew Phelps and Ben Schock, according to ABC News, made history by being the first homosexuals to be engaged at the White House, although ABC points out that “A transgender man proposed to his partner in the East Room earlier this year.” When the president is by oath to support the law of the land, which is marriage between one man and one woman, what gives in the “house of the people”?
First off, the occupant of the Oval Office has no intention of enforcing the Defense of Marriage Act. In this, he is in violation of his oath of office and the US Constitution. He also has violated this by promoting open homosexuality in the US military and he obviously allows such things as homosexuals staging marriage proposals in the White House for the entire news media to see. In decades past, such an event would have sparked outrage among the people. Nowadays, even to write about such a thing questioning not even the morality of sodomy, but only the enforcement of the law, will likely generate massive hate mail from the homosexual and lesbian community.
You see, it is one thing to promote equality under the law--nondiscrimination for all with regard to being able to have a job or to move and act freely in society. It is yet another to be at cross purposes with the political agenda of the homosexual movement. In that case, there is no tolerance from that group. People who suggest that not only the law of the land says marriage is between one man and one women, but also believe that the laws of YHVH God construct marriage only between a man and a woman, are ostracized and labeled. In this case, expressions of freedom of speech and religion are drowned out by the angry and spiteful disrespect of anyone who dare disagree.
In Ezekiel 8, God told the prophet Ezekiel to look around him and see the abominations of Israel. God then instructed Ezekiel to dig into the wall of the temple and “Go in and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.” Verse 10 says, “So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about.” There were even greater abominations as the chapter progresses. Given the prayer of John Adams dedication of the White House, and what abominations we see are done there openly, I wonder if we can even comprehend what other blasphemies, sin and lawlessness are conducted out of the site of the American people in their house?
