Could a Black Socialist Pope Follow a Black Socialist President?

ACCURACY in MEDIA  reported on March 6, 2013:

With African Catholic Cardinal Peter Turkson in the running as the next pope, the media have noted that he carries the fancy title of the president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, an arm of the Vatican. But they have failed to note the existence of a left-wing lobby in the U.S. working feverishly on his behalf. It is the same group of radicals, with connections to billionaire hedge-fund operator George Soros, who backed Obama for president by claiming he shared their Catholic values.

One of Turkson’s chief supporters in the U.S. appears to be Stephen Schneck, an associate professor of politics at the Catholic University of America (CUA) and a top official of “Catholics for Obama.” He runs CUA’s Institute for Policy Research & Catholic Studies and holds conferences featuring left-wing and liberal speakers.

Former AFL-CIO boss John Sweeney, a member of Democratic Socialists of America, told one of Schneck’s conferences that Jesus Christ was pro-union. Another speaker was socialist Harold Meyerson.

When Turkson’s Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace issued a controversial 2011 document, “Towards Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of Global Political Authority,” Schneck called it “breathtaking” and a “Catholic way forward” from the present crisis.

A “global political authority” was endorsed by Pope Benedict XVI’s “Charity in Truth” encyclical in 2009.

Schneck, who served on the board of Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, a group funded by Soros, is so important a figure in progressive Catholic circles that there is speculation that Obama will appoint him as U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican. A writer noted that Schneck “has worked hand-in-glove with different offices at the USCCB [United States Conference of Catholic Bishops], with Catholic Relief Services, with the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders and the Catholic Coalition for Climate Change, and with other Catholic groups, organizing conferences that call attention to important issues.”

He wrote that “Schneck’s range of political and media contacts, his organizational capabilities, his ability to distinguish a central from a peripheral issue, all are vital to making these conferences a success. He brought Cardinal Peter Turkson to CUA two years ago for a conference on Rerum Novarum.”

Rerum Novarum is a papal encyclical in which, as William Mayer notes, “the Church proclaimed itself competent to speak on economic matters, establishing a justification for governmental control, to a greater or lesser degree, of the marketplace and by extension, players within the economy, including everyday citizens and businesses.”

Rerum Novarum is the basis for many “social justice” theories promoted by leftist and Marxist operatives in the church.

Turkson, who is from Ghana, has taken “social justice” to the global level, arguing for a “global financial authority” to solve the world’s economic problems.

For this reason, left-wing “progressives” backing Obama hope Turkson will be the next pope and use the Vatican in a global campaign against capitalism.

Vatican Radio said the Turkson document, “Towards Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of Global Political Authority,” had “proposed the creation of a global political authority to manage the economy and a new world economic order” with the United Nations “as a point of reference.”

Crisis Magazine, a conservative Catholic publication, said it contained “some downright frightening prescriptions for reshaping the worldwide economy” and could be seen as “a blueprint for a George Soros agenda.”

Turkson spoke at the May 2, 2011, conference organized by Schneck at CUA on the subject of Rerum Novarum. He appeared with Bishop Stephen E. Blaire, chairman of the Committee on Domestic Justice and Human Development at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and Alexia K. Kelley, deputy director of the Obama White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

He was scheduled to speak at this weekend’s 30th Anniversary conference of the Africa Faith and Justice Network (AFJN) at Notre Dame.

The event, held in collaboration with the far-left Institute for Policy Studies, included workshops and panels on such topics as: 

• ·        Examining International Aid to Africa in the Light of Catholic Social Teaching
• ·        Climate Change and Its Impact on the People of Africa
• ·        The expansion of U.S. military activities in Africa 

The group says about itself: “AFJN works primarily with the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. government to advance our message of social justice, though we are also registered as a UN-DPI [Department of Public Information] organization at the United Nations.”

It counts the Department of Social Development and World Peace, the national public policy agency of the U.S. Catholic Bishops, as one of its “collaborating organizations.”

But now I see blood—blood running down St. Peter's and into the square there, and it's dividing—it's dividing the Church in half.

"I  WILL  SIT  UPON  THE  THRONE"
Our Lady - "Too many years have been wasted on earth in idle talk. Penance, atonement, and the rules of discipline have been cast aside, weakening the souls and opening the door for the entrance of the evil spirits."
Veronica - Oh! Oh, I see a terrible, cell-like-looking hole. It's very dark, and it's very, very deep. It's like looking into the ground-very deep. There are steps going down, and all along the walls—they're very hot; they're burning, like orange. The heat is terrible! And down there are-down at the bottom are horrible, horrible things! They look—they're like animals, but yet they look almost human. There are four of them. They look like—they have little ears. Oh, they're horrible looking! They're mean, and I know they're demons. There are four of them.
     Now they're floating up, up, up, up. Now they're coming out here in the light. They all are looking about with a smug look of satisfaction on their faces-if you could call them faces, they're so horrible. Oh-h-h . . . oh-h-h! So evil, mean! Now one is pointing over—oh, he's pointing over, and I can see St. Peter's, the cathedral. And he's saying: "It will not be long before we shall accomplish our mission." Oh! Now he's holding in his hand a red hat, a hat. He said: "I'm waiting for my entrance."
     He holds his hand up—oh, his hand's horrible! The fingers are long and thin, and they look like claws. There's nails coming out; they're claws. But He's looking down, and he wants me to see this. Oh, it's horrible! He has this large, red cardinal's hat in his hand. He said: "I will sit upon the throne of Peter, and I will destr-o-y the Church of God!" Oh, it's horrible! Oh, no!
     Now Our Lady is coming forward, and She's placing out Her hands. Now She's looking down, and Michael has come forward. He's standing there with a bow, and Our Lady now—Michael, Michael is pulling the bow! He's going to run it through him! But Our Lady said: "No! It is not time. The purification of the world is at hand."
     Now I see this horrible-looking creature. He's floating, and he's standing now beside the door of Saint Peter's. Now he's being joined by two human beings. Oh, my goodness! Oh! Oh, I see him actually . . . he's going . . . he seems like he's infusing into him! He's entering into him! Oh, how horrible! Now I can't see him, because he's standing there now, but he's a human.
     Now this human, who has been infused, has across his chest two keys, two golden keys. Now next to him stands another figure. He's wearing a red hat, and he's got ropes in his hands. And now he's running the rope—but as he opens the rope, it's a snake. The rope is a snake, and it's curling about the keys. Oh, it's curling about the keys. Oh, my! Oh!
     Now the keys are melting, and the keys are forming into a . . . like these . . . like the bishops wear. They have these like a . . . that, that cane, like, with the top. They're, they're—it's not a scepter; the crook, that looks like a large, long cane with a top on it. And around the cane is curled the snake. Oh, it's a golden snake. Our Lady said:

THE  PRELUDE

SHALL  FLEE  IN  TERROR

HE  MUST  NOT  LEAVE  ROME
Our Lady - "My child, we must act in great haste. You must warn your Vicar: he must not leave Rome. The Seat of Peter must not be vacated, for the one of dark secrets will enter upon it. There is a plan for the removal of your Vicar. He must not leave Rome. Demon four . . . demon five to enter Rome. Watch and pray much."
Veronica - I see now two figures. Oh, they're horrible looking. They look like half animal, half human. Oh, they're standing now on the right side of the flagpole. Now they're pointing way out into space. And I see St. Peter's, the cathedral. And I—they're slowly making their way to St. Peter's. Now they're standing, the two of them, right in that circle—the square that's right in front of St. Peter's.
     And now one of them has reached up over his head, and he's grabbed in the air, and he's holding onto a key, a golden key. But the key now is turning from gold—it's getting black, black, and blacker. Oh, now he's taking the key and he's throwing it down onto the ground, and he's stomping on it. Oh, he's a miserable-looking thing! He's stomping on it. Oh!
     Now the other creature behind him—I know it's a demon—he's picked up this black-looking key, and he's going over to the basilica there—the outside of the church, the outside—and he's standing there, and he's looking up very smugly, and he's touching the top of what looks like his head. But it's-oh, like a horrible-looking thing with points—ears, I guess. And he looks almost like an elf. And he's touching his head.
     Now he's putting his hand out, and he's got in his hand a tiara. I know it looks—but it's not as brilliant and bright-like Saint Peter had on. But it's, it's a tiara. And now he's putting it on his head. Oh, how awful! How awful!
     Now Michael's coming over, and he has a large, very large spear in his hand, a very large spear. And now he has his bow, and he's shooting something. And the hat has been knocked right off of this demon's head-the tiara, I guess. I don't like to call it even a tiara; it's not bright and brilliant like Peter had on. It looks like made of—sort of like papier-mache, or cardboard, or something. It doesn't look real. And it's been knocked over. - July 1, 1973 

WITHOUT  PRAYERS . . .
