Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington, New York sued for promoting pro-homosexual teachings...

All aberrations condemned by the Eternal Father, you will permit in the name of humanism. Nay, no! I say unto you as your God. You will be given a short reign, for I consider you then an abomination, and as such you will be removed." - Jesus, May 23, 1979

Newsday reported on January 21, 2003:

A former seminary student has filed a $2 million lawsuit against the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, Bishop William Murphy and top officials of its seminary, charging they promoted what he called "pro-homosexual” teachings in contradiction to authentic Roman Catholic doctrine.

William Downey, a 57-year-old retired Manhasset businessmen, said he was expelled from the master's in theology program for lay men and women at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington after threatening to publicize his complaints that the seminary was teaching now-discredited moral ideas. He also complained that professors distributed what he described as "lewd and pro-homosexual materials,” including a pamphlet advertising books that affirmed gay and lesbian Christians.

"For our seminary to teach notions that run contrary to authentic Catholic theology, in fact to teach a condemned heresy that permits one who molests children to sleep at night, has created the conditions under which the sex scandal is a natural byproduct,” Downey said yesterday in the office of his attorney, John Picciano of Garden City. The suit, which alleges fraud and breach of contract, was filed Friday in State Supreme Court in Mineola.

Immaculate Conception Seminary in Huntington, New York is just one of many American seminaries that have betrayed Church teaching, promoted immorality, and allowed sodomites to become priests. Other pro-sodomite seminaries include:

St. Anthony’s Seminary, Santa Barbara, California
In Santa Barbara, allegations surfaced in 1993 that 34 boys at St. Anthony's Seminary had been molested by 11 monks over a 23-year period ending in 1987, when the seminary closed for financial reasons. At the time, the provincial minister of the order publicly called the findings a "terrible truth" and "horrific."

St. Patrick’s Seminary, Menlo Park, California
The academic dean at St. Patrick's seminary in Menlo Park was relieved of his duties by the Archdiocese of San Francisco following his arrest on March 2, 2000 in an alleged internet solicitation of a 13-year-old boy. The pro-homosexual orientation of St. Patrick's seminary is no secret, as indicated by aa Newsweekkinterview with rector Rev. Gerald Coleman: "Most others, like St. Patrick’s Seminary nearrSan Francisco, have no restrictions. 'Shouldn’t you consider a homosexual as equally fit? I would think yes,' says the Rev. St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland (nickname: “The Pink Palace”)
Hartford Courant, March 24, 2002 -- A Connecticut priest has claimed a network of gay-leaning bullies exists in some Catholic seminaries, where straight students are ostracized for advocating traditional teaching.
The Rev. Andrew Walter was tossed out of Baltimore's St. Mary's Seminary five years ago after a psychological evaluation at a church-approved treatment center concluded he was "homophobic" and had a "histrionic personality disorder." (Read more…)

St. John's Seminary in Boston, Massachusetts
Seminary dean was fired for kissing seminarian: (BOSTON GLOBE, 15 MAY 2002) Cardinal Law provided a written assurance to Belmont Abbey College that the Rev. George C. Berthold had an unblemished record, despite Berthold's November 1995 dismissal from Boston's St. John's Seminary. Just two months after he became dean of St. John's undergraduate college, Berthold was accused of making improper advances toward a freshman seminarian, including kissing him on the lips. Altoona (PA) Diocese Seminary
Penn. bishop says gay seminarians OK: Although some Catholic dioceses screen out would-be priests because of gay sexual orientations, the eight-county Altoona-Johnstown Diocese in Pennsylvania does not, said Bishop Joseph Adamec. The diocese is currently reviewing about a half dozen allegations of homosexual abuse of minors. (Read more…)

A February 1961 Vatican document also clearly states: "Advancement to religious vows and ordination should be barred to those who are afflicted with evil tendencies to homosexuality or pederasty, since for them the common life and the priestly ministry would constitute serious dangers.”

Yet when the U.S. bishops met in Dallas this past June, they couldn't even agree that the role of dissent and homosexuality in this catastrophe was worth studying. This prompted Bishop Bruskewitz to call them this "hapless bench of bishops."
