Clergy have failed to address the pornography plague

"Mothers and fathers of the world, will you not protect the souls of your children? You must take action against those who are propagating the evil. Parents, have you examined what your children have been reading? Their eyes, which are the mirror of the soul, are being polluted—their souls being destroyed by the pornography being sold for profit and gain. Why is there no action, My children, to safeguard your children? Many parents will cry bitter tears of anguish, but too late, too late!" - Our Lady, August 14, 1975

Parish priests must be aware that there are people sitting in their pews abusing children, whose minds have been poisoned and warped through pornography. In some families, the men are totally into this perversion, and priests must be made aware of this sickening reality. On EWTN a priest said that abortion will end when the Church says it ends, that the Catholic priests and bishops have the power to stop legalized abortion, if they really wanted to. This is not a figure of speech; it is really true. The same can be said of the plague of pornography. If the Catholic hierarchy wanted to, they could significantly cleanse the United States of a great deal of this moral filth. The priests and bishops, however, have not made a concerted effort to win this battle against pornography. It is up to the priests to teach the people, and to motivate them to action. They share in the power of God; they are not helpless against evil.

So many people sitting in the pews have a wall around them, spiritual darkness, they think they have no problems. Who is going to reach these people, if not the priests? The priests have the perfect opportunity to address and protect their flock from this evil of pornography, but they are not using it. Many clergy are not even scratching the surface, they are not really changing the people. Many priests today only say so much, they go only so far just so they aren’t kicked out of their parish. I was told by a priest himself, that some timid priests believe they have to be careful about what they say (speaking the truth) for fear of laity going to the bishop complaining that the priest be silent on a “controversial” topic. This priest told me that he had been moved several times from various parishes because he had spoken the truth. He also said that he was lucky to have a head pastor at the parish he was now at, who would allow him to speak more freely.

This is the situation in the Catholic Church in the United States today, one of the reasons why you don’t hear many sermons that strike to the heart. Instead, you hear a lot of “safe” sermons.

Our Lady of the Roses has said:

“If you know in your hearts, O pastors, that souls are in danger of being corrupted, misled, and even destroyed, and you do nothing about it, because you do not wish to offend your superiors, because you value your life in this world too much and your good living; I assure you, O pastors, you shall stand before My Son and He shall not know you.” (Our Lady, March 18, 1977)

If priests go the way of the world they are not holy, period. And that’s the problem. So if you approach a priest asking how to help a family member or friend become free from pornography and the priest says, “there is nothing you can do about it,” you have unfortunately run into a priest who has made some cowardly treaty with the world. Are you going to entrust the soul of your child or friend to a priest like this?

A good priest would offer you many different ways of tackling this evil (first, by immediately removing ALL pornographic material out of the house). But woe to the priest who does not protect his parish from this evil by warning them of its terrible dangers! As St. Augustine says:

“Who is the hireling who, seeing the approach of the wolf, takes flight? He who seeks himself and does not seek what is of Jesus Christ; he who does not dare to frankly admonish the sinner (1 Tim. 5:20). See, someone has sinned, gravely sinned; he should be admonished, excluded from the Church. But, excluded from the Church, he will become its enemy and will try to ensnare it and harm it when he can. Now the hireling, the one who seeks himself and not what is of Jesus Christ, will be silent and will not give admonition, in order not to lose what he seeks, namely the advantage of personal friendship, and in order to avoid the unpleasantness, worry and personal enmity. The wolf at that moment takes hold of the sheep to throttle them…. You are silent O hireling, and do not admonish… Your silence is your flight. You are silent, you are afraid. Fear is the flight of the soul.” (St. Augustine, Tractatus in Joannem, XLVI, 7-8)

What I am so bothered by is the fact that there are so few people speaking out against the evil of pornography. So many children could have been spared from sexual abuse or from an immoral home environment had it not been for negligent priests and bishops who didn’t do their job. So many priests have been corrupted in such a short time, they are not just watering down the Gospel, they are even changing the Gospel. Proper guidance is not being given to the children from the clergy or the teachers. So now more than ever before, disciplining and guiding children must be given by the parents because many teachers and clergy have failed our children:

“Firmness is needed in your world that is filled with laxity, permissiveness and degradation. Your children have been misled by many who shall answer to the Father. As teachers they have failed in their role. Therefore, as parents you must succeed in yours.” (St. Joseph, March 18, 1973)

The lies regarding the issue of pornography are legion. Once such lie is that pornography is free speech and, as such, is supposedly protected by the First Amendment. At one time, the distribution of “obscene, lewd, lascivious, or filthy … or other publication of an indecent character” was punished by federal law. In 1988, former U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren Burger stated that “nothing could be clearer from the Court that obscenity is not protected speech.” The Supreme Court stated in the case, Roth v. United States (1957), that “obscenity is not expression protected by the First Amendment.” The obscene material at issue was pornography.

Pornography generates a vice, of seeing members of the opposite sex as objects. As Jason Evert says in his booklet, Pure Love, “And, men, remember: To the degree that you love women, fight pornography.” (p. 13)

"Take from your homes diabolical literature. It's an abomination in the eyes of your God for parents to have pornography in their homes. They warp the minds of the young and shut the Kingdom of Heaven from them; the doors remain closed.” – Jesus, July 25, 1979

Our Lady of the Roses awesome Bayside Prophecies... http://www.tldm.org/../Bayside/  These prophecies came from Jesus, Mary, and the saints to Veronica Lueken at Bayside, NY, from 1968 to 1995.

PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN
"Mothers and fathers of the world, will you not protect the souls of your children? You must take action against those who are propagating the evil. Parents, have you examined what your children have been reading? Their eyes, which are the mirror of the soul, are being polluted--their souls being destroyed by the pornography being sold for profit and gain. Why is there no action, My children, to safeguard your children? Many parents will cry bitter tears of anguish, but too late, too late!" - Our Lady, August 14, 1975

SET UP TASK-FORCE TO STOP PORNOGRAPHY
"My child, you must set up a task-force to stop the waves of evil in pornography that is engulfing your country and the world. Action is needed! There are many true spirits who will help you in this fight. It is truly a battle of the spirits!" - Our Lady, August 14, 1975

A WAY OF LIFE
"I ask that a task force be set upon the world to eliminate the products of the forces of evil that seek to debase, destroy the souls of your children. Remove from your homes the corrupters of souls: the pornography, the infernal box—your television—and the destructor of souls, modesty and purity—the nakedness of the body.
"Parents, you shall be judged for the destruction by permissiveness, of your children's souls. Clothe them in goodness, holiness, and piety, and make modesty a way of life for the young." - Our Lady, August 21, 1975

EXAMPLE OF QUEEN OF HEAVEN
"The world must follow the example of the Queen of Heaven. Modesty, purity of heart and purpose." - St. Michael, December 7, 1973

SACRED TEMPLE OF GOD
"Impress, My child, upon your world the existence of hell that man seeks to deny. There are fires of hell. These fires will be felt on those who have lost their modesty to modernization, who expose the sacred temple of God, placed when their spirit entered their body—expose them to ridicule! The flames will burn every inch of that which is exposed." - Our Lady, November 20, 1971

AS BEFITS A WIFE AND MOTHER
"Women shall not approach the sacred Body dressed as pagans, exposing the temples of their spirit to shame! Cover yourselves, My children, or you will burn!
"I repeat: women will dress as befits a wife and mother, clothing themselves with modesty and holiness. Children will follow the example of their parents. Therefore, if your example is poor, your children will be your thorns. The sins of the parents are surely visited upon the children." - Our Lady, March 18, 1975
