Who is the "great statesman"?

Veronica - Our Lady says there will be an assassination of a very prominent figure.

One of the most elusive of Our Lady of the Roses prophecies has been that of the "great statesman".  This prophecy of the "great statesman" refers to a great political figure in the United States that will be assassinated.  So important will this figure be, that his death will "set your country in great jeopardy."

So who could fit this prophecy?

A person so key to our country that his assassination would "set your country in great jeopardy", it would have to be one of the most influential political figures, even a President, or perhaps, a candidate aspiring to be President, someone who could have the impact of an Abraham Lincoln, who guided the United States through the Civil War, and repealed slavery. The rights of citizenship, of equality for blacks, were won after much bloodshed in our country.

The assassination of a figure who would change the course of our country back to God and morality, truly would set the United States in "great jeopardy."

What if God has now raised up a political figure that could guide the United States through this terribly dangerous period of history, one that would champion the life of the unborn and grant them protection and equality with all other American citizens, as President Lincoln was chosen for his time of history?

This prophecy has not yet been fulfilled.

"My child, you must hasten to get all of the messages out as quickly as possible.
     "Your country, My child and My children, will lose a great statesman. You must pray for all of the leaders of the nations of the world, and pray for your country, the United States, and Canada." - Our Lady, October 1, 1983
