Another “Traditional” Catholic Group Chooses Schism...

SOILED BECAUSE OF INTELLECTUAL PRIDE
"You are confounded and deluded, My child, by not recognizing the faces of evil among you. The habit of the cleric has often been soiled because of intellectual pride, My child. Know now that intellectual pride is a far greater barrier against sanctity, will hinder you from the path of sanctity faster, My children, than outright licentiousness and evil. Intellectual pride is the downfall of many. Pride, My children, is a sin.
    "In order to reach the Kingdom of the Father, you must divest yourself, remove all pride and worldly searching. You must become as confident, as trusting as a child. Know that all is yours for the asking. Believe and you will be given the way. My Son in the Eucharist is always with you to strengthen you.
    "You will pray, My children, for your hierarchy. They, too, will be tried. And sadly, many are found wanting at this time. Pray much for them, My children." - Our Lady, March 29, 1975

My child and My children, We need no more Traditionalists running around and creating new churches. We have to remain steadfast and firm in our convictions that with enough prayer, and also the firm example of holiness among many, this will not happen. We do not condemn those who make these side churches, the Traditional Roman Catholic churches; they mean well, but they are being led astray. There will be eventually an American Catholic Church if this continues. This is not approved by Heaven.... It is most urgent that this breaking away stop now before it evolves into a major schism." - Jesus, September 14, 1985

Today it came to my attention that a relatively small group of priests located in Scotland has decided to take a path similar to the SSPX: one of their own will be consecrated a bishop without papal approval.

Known as the Congregation of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer or the Transalpine Redemptorists, this group has a very chaotic history. They were founded in 1988 with the blessing of Archbishop Lefebvre. They started in France, but eventually moved to an island off the coast of Scotland. In June of 2008, the group was reconciled with Rome. This followed the release of Pope Benedict XVI's motu proprio Summorum Pontificum.

Unfortunately, this reunion would not last. In May, the Transalpine Redemptorists issued a worrying statement. This statement called for an "imperfect" council to correct the errors of Vatican II. It also stated that all of the popes after Pope John XXIII were pretenders, thus declaring themselves sedevacantists. On June 18, they announced that the founder of the group, Fr. Michael Mary, would be consecrated a bishop on July 25th by 3 sedevacantist bishops. Since they don't believe there is a valid pope, this consecration is going to be performed without papal approval.

Ordinarily I would not have covered the actions of such a small group. However, I have followed this group from afar for years. I know several people who support them. So I felt that I needed to cover their actions.

Our Lady has warned time and time again that we must remain with Rome. On February, 10, 1977, she said, "We ask you from Heaven not to leave, not to create a schism from your main body in Rome. You must remain within My Son's Church and pray a constant vigilance of prayer. Satan and his agents have entered in full battle upon My Son's Church. Satan has entered into the highest ranks within My Son's Church and the world. He will manipulate powers, provincials, until he brings about a great chastisement, because man will not listen and mend his ways."

The Transalpine Redemptists are taking a path contray to what Heaven wants. They are blinded by pride. They must repent before it is too late.
