President Donald Trump championed the God-given right to life and lambasted politicians who shy away from honoring God during a stirring address at the 74th annual National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday.

He reaffirmed America’s foundational principles in a speech that resonated deeply with pro-life advocates who see faith as inseparable from protecting the unborn.

Speaking before a gathering of faith leaders, lawmakers and dignitaries, Trump highlighted the Declaration of Independence’s assertion that humans are “endowed with our sacred rights to life, liberty and not by government but by god almighty himself.”
