Burn Down Capitalism? History Says You'll Just Get a Bigger Tyrant...
ONCE BEAUTIFUL
"O My children, I have counseled you now through many earth-years of the coming great Chastisement and the minor warnings that will be given to mankind. Do not be deluded by those who go to and fro speaking and crying out of love and brotherhood and peace. There is no peace in the home or heart where satan reigns, and satan reigns throughout your country now. America the beautiful, the once beautiful, under God, has now fallen to satan." - Our Lady of the Roses, November 21, 1977
ONCE A CHRISTIAN NATION
"O My children, how happy were the days when I could look down from Heaven upon you and find that America was so beautiful--a Christian nation, devout, pious, and following the road as given by the Eternal Father, through My Son and the Holy Spirit of light. And now the light has been darkened." - Our Lady of the Roses, December 24, 1979

Afnn.us reported on November 4, 2026:
Capitalism sucks. Billionaires buy politicians, corporations write regulations, Washington launders taxpayer money through its favorite industries, and ordinary Americans get to choose which flavor of corruption they prefer every November.
We’ve practically built an oligarchy with a customer loyalty program.
So naturally, some genius announces that capitalism has failed and we need to tear the whole thing down.
Brilliant. What could possibly go wrong?
Apparently, nobody bothered reading the last 250 years of human history. Because every time humanity gets tired of being screwed by the ruling class, somebody shows up promising paradise if we’ll just hand him enough power to fix everything.
Spoiler alert: The guy promising to eliminate the oligarchy usually wants to own it.
France, 1789. The peasants were starving while aristocrats lived like royalty. Revolution! Liberty! Equality! Brotherhood!
Then came the guillotines, the Reign of Terror, and Napoleon crowning himself emperor.
Outstanding work, gentlemen. You replaced a king with an emperor. Somebody give those revolutionaries a participation trophy.
Russia, 1917. The Bolsheviks promised workers freedom from wealthy parasites. No more exploitation! No more inequality! Power to the people!
Instead, they got Stalin, gulags, mass starvation, and a government that could make you disappear for having the wrong opinion.
Turns out the workers didn’t seize the means of production. The government seized the workers.
China, 1949. Mao promised a glorious communist paradise. Tens of millions died during the catastrophes that followed. Apparently, eliminating capitalism required eliminating a substantial number of capitalists, peasants, and anyone unfortunate enough to disagree with Chairman Mao.
Cuba, 1959. Castro promised liberation from dictatorship. He delivered another dictatorship, this time with revolutionary merchandise and better public relations.
Iran, 1979. Millions revolted against an authoritarian monarchy and ended up with an authoritarian theocracy.
Different tyrants. Different costumes. Same boot on your throat.
Here’s the dirty little secret: Revolutions don’t eliminate human greed. They reorganize it.
And that’s precisely why the American Founders were so suspicious of concentrated power.
They understood something modern political messiahs apparently missed: Human beings are fundamentally flawed. Give somebody unlimited authority, and sooner or later he’ll convince himself that crushing his enemies is necessary for the greater good.
James Madison understood this in Federalist No. 51: "If men were angels, no government would be necessary."
But men aren’t angels. Especially the ones demanding control of your money, property, speech, and livelihood.
Now, does that mean American capitalism is working beautifully?
Hell no.
When corporations can purchase political influence, government bureaucracies protect monopolies, and politicians leave Washington mysteriously wealthier than when they arrived, we’ve got a serious problem.
But that’s not an argument for abolishing capitalism. It’s an argument for breaking the corrupt marriage between corporate wealth and government power.
We’ve done it before. Antitrust enforcement, competition reforms, and restrictions on political corruption can attack the disease without killing the patient.
The alternative? Handing even more economic authority to the same political class that helped create this mess.
That’s like discovering your house is infested with termites and hiring the termites to supervise the demolition and reconstruction.
And here’s the part that should scare the hell out of everyone.
When the economic system collapses, the billionaires don’t suddenly become poor. The politically connected don’t magically lose their connections. The powerful don’t voluntarily surrender power.
They buy the wreckage.
Meanwhile, ordinary Americans lose their savings, businesses, retirement accounts, and whatever independence they managed to scrape together.
Then the new ruling class announces that sacrifices are necessary for the revolution.
Your sacrifices, naturally. Not theirs.
So yes, America has an oligarchy problem. Yes, capitalism has been corrupted. And yes, our political establishment deserves a serious reckoning.
But before you start cheering for somebody promising to destroy the system, remember this:
The French wanted liberty and got Napoleon. The Russians wanted equality and got Stalin. The Chinese wanted prosperity and got Mao.
And you think your favorite revolutionary influencer has finally figured out the magic formula?
Good luck with that, comrade.
Capitalism needs an overhaul, not a suicide pact. Because when you hit the economic reboot button, there’s no guarantee you’ll get a better operating system.
You might just discover that the new version comes with fewer freedoms, mandatory obedience, and absolutely no uninstall option.

CLEANSE YOUR NATION
"Many warnings have been given in the past to mankind, that have been rejected as being a natural catastrophe. I assure you, My children, many have not been natural, but supernatural in origin. They have been coming from the Eternal Father to warn you that your time is growing short. You must cleanse your nation and all of the nations of the world of their sins of impurity. They must restore each nation under God." - Our Lady of the Roses, May 23, 1979
