The Sorrow of Sorrows Approaches...

April 7, 1970

Veronica received a locution from Our Lady—words heard in the intellect, but without actually seeing Her. Our Lady announced that She would come to Her chosen sacred grounds at the old Saint Robert Bellarmine Church on the eve of all feast days, and directed that a sanctuary be built there, to be called Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers.
     Veronica was given directives for its construction, and was told she should speak with the clergy and ask them to prepare for Our Lady’s first visit to Her sacred grounds, which would occur on June 18, 1970.
There was another message given from Heaven on this same date:
     “The road to the Kingdom of God is found in the reading of the Scriptures. Man does not know God. He no longer looks for Him in the revelations of the holy Bible. The soul in exile can only be nourished by the word of God, through Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross.
     “The holy Bible is your family heirloom. Partake of His precious gift of the Lamb, and keep your eyes on the Bible as the darkness closes in about us.”

Veronica – In April, 1970 there was a message given to me by the Holy Spirit, and it was a most heartrending message due to the situation that is attacking us here in New York and throughout the world.
The Holy Spirit said for this message to go to the world: “At the moment of conception I breathe the spirit of life. No man has the right to destroy a creation from the Most High. For this transgression the sorrow of sorrows approaches. Repent while there is time. Turn back, for the darkness approaches.”
