Religious Orders and Consecrated Life:

Scandal from superiors...

"I see, My children, a great evil transpiring upon earth. Those who have the power to stop the evil have chosen to go downstream like ducks upon water, letting everything slide off their backs, neither caring nor visualizing the future. And why? Because they have given themselves to the world.
"Just as My Son stood before Pilate and he washed his hands and said: 'This man is innocent; I see no wrong in him,' however, in his heart he knew of innocence but he feared reprisal from the crowd, My children; he valued his life, he loved his sin, and he was too much involved with the pleasures of this life and the world.
"You see, My children, it is taking place all over again for those in command in rule. They go along 'passing,' as you say, 'the buck,' each one not willing to admit his error or his participation in evil, but only too willingly allowing others to take the blame or the responsibility. And I assure you, My children, if evil is being allowed, the 'buck passer' is just as guilty as the original one who had started the evil.
"If you know in your hearts, O pastors, that souls are in danger of being corrupted, misled, and even destroyed, and you do nothing about it, because you do not wish to offend your superiors, because you value your life in this world too much and your good living; I assure you, O pastors, you shall stand before My Son and He shall not know you. You will be disowned, banished from eternal life in Heaven, and you shall join your father who is the father of all liars, satan, and the prince of darkness."
- Our Lady of the Roses, March 18, 1977

The following is taken from the book, The Practice of the Rule by Louis Colin, C.SS.R.

Still another opportunity to exercise the virtue of fortitude may be found in the influence of environment. Not every community is a sanctuary of regularity and not every religious is a model of perfect observance. Father Petitot puts the problem very well:

This is the case in every congregation, in every association, in every order that has not been reformed by the activity or influence of some exceptionally saintly soul. We do not find a single example of a religious order which did not suffer some degree of laxity within fifty years of its foundation. After seeing St. Teresa returning to the Convent of St. Joseph of Avila, the first of those she had founded and reformed, in order to re-establish the fervor which had begun to lag, we are somewhat less surprised to meet with laxity and lukewarmness in even the best community.[1]

That is the test that reveals and strengthens character: the religious who has the practice of the rule written upon his heart must be willing to suffer persecution for the sake of justice. He must repeat the words of the Psalmist: "Many are they that persecute me and afflict me; but I have not declined from Thy testimonies" (Ps. 118, 157). The religious who does not look for scandal to oppose or put on the air of an unofficial reformer, but rather sets himself to the task of keeping the entire rule quietly and humbly and firmly, runs the risk of being judged and blamed and of passing for being scrupulous or intransigent or pharisaical. St. Augustine notes that those who want to make progress towards perfection always have to pass through the trial of contradiction and criticism.[2] This sad trial was well known to St. Therese of Lisieux, as Father Petitot writes: "They say that what really shows the heroic character of her virtues ... is that she had to struggle against the current in order to keep from being discouraged from her perfect faithfulness to the rule. That certainly demands an extraordinary degree of virtue."[3]

This is the advice that St. Alphonsus gave to one of the religious of his community: "Do not become attached to any one party. But when there is a question of keeping the rule and serving God, always join the side that has the most zeal for what is right. It does not matter if you are injured or mistreated because of your stand."[4]

Even in the face of some older religious who has grown as sensitive as he is lax in his observance of the rule, the newly professed must be brave enough to hold fast to the law even if he will be treated as proud or impertinent or a reformer. "I am very young and despised; but I forget not Thy justifications" (Ps. 118, 141). The soul must be freed from this fear of youth, which consists in becoming too sensitive to the scorn of those who are themselves really deserving of scorn. The religious who does not observe the rule and who finds fault with his confreres who do, is like a blind man who mocks at those who can see the light. He is like a cripple making fun of those who can walk properly. The true observer of the rule must smile at those who laugh at regularity and never give way to the fear that is so common among younger religious of a community, the fear of human respect.[5]

The religious must always look for peace, but still he must avoid the culpably wrong fear of starting what might be a necessary quarrel. When there is need for it, he must know how to do battle. This is how Petitot describes the situation:

An exaggerated esteem for peace and conciliation is very dangerous. It opens the way to abuse, lets the weaker members grow lax, and allows the arbitrary and unjustifiable needs of men of overbearing and violent character to make headway. Even in the religious life of the monastery there can be a certain passivity which aims only to conciliate and which, from many points of view, is worse than passing faults or even open divisions and quarrels. By their excessive tolerance, which should really be called a tacit form of complicity, many religious men and women, whose duty should lead them to observe the demands of fraternal charity and correction, actually end up by permitting themselves great liberty with the rules, transgressions which, little by little, can lead the whole community or the whole order into a state of laxity.[6]

Only the religious who is able to resist what might be even a general influence towards evil has the spirit of a fighter. Only the religious who is able to oppose and even to make a protest, if it conies to that, will stand fast.

SCANDAL FROM SUPERIORS. Even if scandal comes from high places, it must be firmly resisted. For a fervent religious irregularity on the part of a superior is a delicate test of character. What he has to do is to reconcile faithfulness to the rule with the respect and obedience that are always due to authority; and under the circumstances, his action could easily take on the appearance, if not of insubordination, at least of indirect opposition. "The look of a just man is an admonition."[7] That is what St. Ambrose says. St. Therese of Lisieux adds that there is a clear duty here. "Even if everyone else were failing to keep the rule, that would be no reason for excusing ourselves. Every religious should act as if the perfection of the whole order depended upon his personal conduct alone."

Petitot quotes these words of the Little Flower and adds that in "practicing the letter of the law and always obeying, with these principles as a guide, the religious can save the world."[8]

After all, the rule is always the rule, and insofar as it has not been legitimately modified or abrogated, it has the force of law. The excellent counsel that St. Alphonsus gives on this point is always worth repeating.

Whenever St. Andrew Avellino saw the rules violated, he admonished with great fervor not only his companions in religion, but also his superiors. It is related in the life of Father Torres that one of his penitents, Sister M. Teresa Spinelli, a religious of great fervor, of the convent of the Most Holy Trinity at Naples, seeing certain abuses introduced into the community, opposed them vehemently without regard to any person, no matter how great the dignity of that person. She had in view only God's honor; and to uphold it by resisting the introduction of irregularity into religion, she endured many afflictions and torments. When manifest abuses and relaxation of observance steal into a convent, it is not pride or temerity but an act of virtue and zeal to exclaim against them, and even to oppose the superiors themselves, should such opposition be necessary for the correction of abuses. . . ,[9]

St. Alphonsus liked to cite three efficacious means of observing the rule, which St. Mary Magdalen dei Pazzi recommended:

1. Prize the rule as you esteem God Himself. 2. Act as if you alone were obliged to observe the rule. 3. If the others fail in observance, endeavor to supply their deficiency.[10]

Etiamsi omnes, ego non! Even if all the rest do it, I will not. One against the world. But not really, because the religious is never alone: he always has God and his conscience with him—and they are powerful allies.

Let us repeat once again that this course of action always demands a strong and indomitable spirit. Certainly it is wrong for a religious to want to be noticed because of some originality or difference that borders on evil conduct, because of an irregular life, or even in virtue of insignificant and harmless trifles. On the other hand, no one would dare to say that it is forbidden for a religious to stand out among his fellows by reason of the perfection of his observance of the rule. There is nothing perfect that is not noticed. By going beyond the necessary and leaving the commonplace behind, the saints have made themselves outstanding. "There was not found the like to him in glory" (Ecclus.44:20).

St. Alphonsus comments as follows:

If a sister, then, asks you to do what without permission you are forbidden to do, tell her without hesitation that you cannot. You ought not to be ashamed to refuse when there is question of avoiding a fault, especially a violation of observance. Should others be negligent, it is your duty to be singular in regular observance. Be not afraid that your regularity will be an occasion of vainglory. It is certainly God's will that if the rest of the community is careless you should distinguish yourself by attending even to the smallest rules. Your example will shine forth and serve as an incentive to others to observe the rule and give glory to God.[11]

"In the Mission from Heaven, you must give yourselves over fully to the spirit. The more you become attached to worldly gain or endeavors, seeking the material before the spiritual, the farther you will go from the truth." - Jesus, May 30, 1977

Our Lady of the Roses' Awesome Bayside Prophecies...  https://www.tldm.org/Bayside/
These prophecies came from Jesus, Mary, and the saints to Veronica Lueken at Bayside, NY, from 1968 to 1995:

PURPOSE OF LIFE
"While you are upon earth you are there to do honor and glory to your God in Heaven. You must know Him, love Him, and serve Him in this world, so that you will be happy with Him forever in the next." - Our Lady, June 1, 1978

THE  DEDICATED  ARE  LEAVING
"My child, We watch and see the houses of My Son crumbling, being destroyed throughout your world. Doors are closing, convents are emptying, and the dedicated are leaving and falling into all manner of sin and abominations. Who shall be in the remnant? Only a few will be saved." - Our Lady, May 26, 1976

INFILTRATED
"Yes, My child, I spoke to you of the evil ones who have infiltrated into the clergy. They are not entering with dedication and spirits of light, but they are bringing in the spirit of darkness. By their fruits will you know them, My child. I have asked you to be not fooled by those who wear the garments of the dedicated but have fouled their garments. You must pray more for the light and recognize the faces of evil about you, My child." - Jesus, June 5, 1975

OBEDIENCE
"In the cause of obedience, pastors and Our dedicated nuns, remember this: you cannot be obedient to one who has defamed his habit, to one who has cast aside his Faith, to one who goes forward as a destroyer of souls. The rabat is the teacher of life, but do not be fooled by those who foul these habits." - Our Lady, August 5, 1976

COME  FORWARD
"Will you not, My children, you who are children of the light, come forward and become nuns, nuns with good hearts, with a good foundation of the Faith and the truth, and nourish Our sheep?" - Our Lady, June 18, 1982

JESUS  MADE  THE  RULE
"Jesus the Lord, your Lord, my sisters and brothers, has made the rule. You cannot change it to suit yourselves. You have been blinded by satan. The liberation in your hearts has been placed there by satan. You gain nothing but your own destruction. Nuns, those who have accepted the rule and taken the habit, must remain in the habit." - St. Theresa, October 2, 1975

GARMENT  OF  PURITY
"Holiness and piety! Man—men of God, you must wear your garment of purity, dedication, and piety. What manner of foul deeds do you perform for the destruction of your sheep! For what? Material gain and pride and arrogance? You shall be cast into the abyss! Rank shall give you no advantage when you come over the veil." - St. Michael, December 24, 1975

WOE
"And woe to the clergy who has given himself over to worldliness and sin! Woe to the clergy who rejects his vocation and chooses a life upon earth after he has taken his vows! I say unto him: the judgment will fall great upon him." - Jesus, August 4, 1979

MOCKED
"Know now, my brothers and sisters of religious orders, you will be mocked, you will be scorned, but you will please the Eternal Father and receive your reward in the Kingdom." - St. Francis, May 28, 1975

THE  "BUCK-PASSER"
You will be disowned, banished from eternal life in Heaven, and you shall join your father who is the father of all liars, satan, and the prince of darkness." - Our Lady, March 18, 1977

DO  NOT  LEAVE
"Do not leave when you are discouraged by those who satan has sent into your convents. Stand forth as an example of purity and godliness. You will not be cast aside by your God, as you will by man, as you stand to defend your God. Pick up your cross and carry it." - St. Theresa, November 20, 1972

TELEVISION / RADIOS
"Modernism must not be a way of life for Our dedicated. Our nuns have to have discipline, My children. Do not bring the world into the convents. I ask that the convents remain free of all television and radios, and return to their prayer life." - Our Lady, June 18, 1990

FOR  GOOD
"Pastors, you shall be called and shall you stand before, in judgment, the Eternal Father and say that your teaching has been pure in His sight? Better that you fear your God than man! Obedience? Obedience is commanded by the Eternal Father for good, not for evil!" - Our Lady, May 26, 1976

There are 4 Things You Must Have to Survive the End Times:

1.) The Douay-Rheims Holy Bible...

"I ask that all who hear My voice will take their Bibles, and if they do not have one, search, but find the right Bible, those printed not after 1965, My children." -  Jesus, October 5, 1985
"You must all obtain a copy of the Book of life and love, the Bible. Do not accept the new mods. Try to find in your bookstores the old Bibles, My children, for many are being changed to suit the carnal nature of man.  I repeat, sin has become a way of life." - Our Lady, October 6, 1992
"I must ask you all to read but a few short chapters a day now, the Book of life and love, your Bible. Knowledge must be gained for all the disciples of My Son, for you will be attacked by scientific minds. But do not be concerned what you will say to them when accosted, for the words will be given to you by the Spirit." - Our Lady, April 10, 1976
The Douay-Rheims Bible was published in 1899.  It is the official Bible of the Roman Catholic Church.  Almost all other Bibles have been rewritten by Satan.   See: https://www.tldm.org/directives/d33.htmhttps://www.tldm.org/directives/d415.htm and https://www.tldm.org/directives/d182.htm   If you don't have a Douay-Rheims Bible order it now!  (Order Form)  Yours and your loved ones salvation could depend on it.
Read the Bible cover to cover.  If you read 4 chapters a day, you will complete the whole Bible in 334 days.  I have read the Bible 2 times and working on the third time.  A 75 year old Baptism gentleman told me that he and his wife have read the Bible nine times.  Wow!

Our Lord stated we must have crucifixes upon the outside of all of our outside doors. In the "Heaven’s Home Protection Packet" there are instructions, four crucifixes, a tube of special cement for wooden or metal crucifixes. Wooden crucifixes adhere better to the doors when the aluminum strap is removed from the back. Put a light coat of cement on the back of the crucifix and then press it to the outside of the door. If you have any problems, you can call us at 616-698-6448 for assistance. This Heaven’s Home Protection Packet is available for a donation of $10.00 plus $4.00 shipping and handling. Crucifix on front and back door...  The only real protection against terrorists...
Jesus - "Pray and wear your sacramentals. And, also, My children, I ask you again to place a crucifix upon your door. Both front and back doors must have a crucifix. I say this to you because there will be carnage within your areas, and this will pass you by if you keep your crucifix upon your doors."     Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers promises to help protect our children. On September 13, 1977, She said, "He has an army of ogres wandering now throughout your country and all of the countries of the world. They are in possession of great power; so wear your sacramentals, and protect your children and your households. Learn the use every day of holy water throughout your household. Insist even with obstructions, insist that your children always wear a sacramental. One day they will understand that they will repel the demons."
On February 1, 1974, Our Lady said, "My children, know the value of these sacramentals. Guard your children well. You must awaken to the knowledge that you will not be protected without the sacramentals. Guard your children's souls. They must be surrounded with an aura of purity. Remove them if necessary from the sources of contamination, be it your schools or even false pastors."
