Suddenly, the Sun is Eerily Quiet: Where Did the Sunspots Go? Could this be the Prelude to the Great Heat?

LA Times reported on July 18, 2014:

Our sun has gone quiet. Almost too quiet.

A few weeks ago it was teeming with sunspots, as you would expect since we are supposed to be in the middle of solar maximum -- the time in the sun's 11-year cycle when it is the most active.

But now, there is hardly a sunspot in sight. If you look closely at the image above, taken on July 18 by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory, you will see a tiny smidge of brown just right of center where a small sunspot appears to be developing. But just one day before, there truly was nothing. It was a totally spotless day.

So what's going on here? Is the "All Quiet Event" as solar physicist Tony Phillips dubbed it, a big deal or not?

"It is weird, but it's not super weird," said Phillips, who writes about solar activity on his website SpaceWeather.com. "To have a spotless day during solar maximum is odd, but then again, this solar maximum we are in has been very wimpy."

Phillips notes this is the weakest solar maximum to have been observed in the space age, and it is shaking out to be the weakest one in the past 100 years, so the spotless day was not so out of left field.

"It all underlines that solar physicists really don't know what the heck is happening on the sun," Phillips said. "We just don't know how to predict the sun, that is the take away message of this event."

Sunspots are interesting to solar observers because they are the region of the sun where solar activity such as solar flares (giant flashes of light) and coronal mass ejections (when material from the sun goes shooting off into space) originate.

They are caused by highly concentrated magnetic fields that are slightly cooler than the surrounding surface of the sun, which is why they appear dark to us. Those intense magnetic fields can get twisted up and tangled, which causes a lot of energy to build up. Solar flares and coronal mass ejections occur when that energy is released in a very explosive way.

Alex Young, a heliophysicist at Goddard Space Flight Center, said it is hard to say what is and isn't unusual when it comes to the sun.

"We've only been observing the sun in lots of detail in the last 50 years," he said. "That's not that long considering it's been around for 4.5 billion years."

And it's not like astronomers have never seen the sun this quiet before. Three years ago, on Aug. 14, 2011, it was completely free of sunspots. And, as Phillips points out, that year turned out to have relatively high solar activity overall with several X-class flares. So in that case, the spotless sun was just a "temporary intermission," as he writes on his website.

Whether this quiet period will be similarly short-lived or if it will last longer remains to be seen.

"You just can't predict the sun," Phillips said.

A Great Heat Wave Will Precede a Worldwide Children's Plague...

Also, note that there is a "C" at the mouth of the rat and a "P" over the body of the rat for Coughing Rat Plague. It also causes an intestinal flu and diarrhea. The intestines show up in the picture and the rat looks as if it is defecating.

Slight plague of rats in eastern area
"I, also, must tell you, My child, to tell the world of the coming second part of the plague: the first you must remain secret with for awhile, My child. I will tell you there will be a slight plague of rats. Do not be affrighted, My child, this plague will be kept within only the eastern area.” (6-18-83)

Initially everyone thought the plague would be in the eastern area of the United States. But the plague came out of the eastern part of the world. The plague will come out of the hantavirus family of viruses. The Chinese trade ships spread the hantavirus to the whole world.

Flu-Like symptoms . . .
The fever comes first. Then comes fatigue, backache, and sore muscles. Days later, the headache, dizziness, nausea and chills, diarrhea, just like the flu. Then comes coughing, and soon a persistent shortness of breath. In 24 hours or less, you can hardly breathe. You’re drowning in your own fluids.

And like a drowning person, your mortal terror is extreme. Unable to absorb oxygen, you rapidly go to into shock. Your blood pressure plummets and finally your exhausted heart stalls and ceases pounding. You have just become a victim of the deadly hantavirus family of viruses.

The plague is spread by voles, deer mouse which has a white underside and feet, cotton rat, marsh rice rat, Norway rat, or the common or black rat.

The hantavirus is active in the spring and the fall when the temperature is between 45 and 72 degrees.

Recommendations to stop the Hantavirus...
The hantavirus family of viruses is carried in the urine and feces of rodents. A 10% bleach solution can be used to clean up droppings and kill the virus. Avoid all contact with dead rodents. Risky places include barns, cabins, abandoned housed, tool sheds, privies, attics, basements, garages, or any place rodents can make their homes. Properly dispose of all garbage. Plug holes in walls with wire, cement, or steel wool. Set traps and use an effective rodenticide. Keep rodents nesting sites at least 100 feet from your house.

Plague to come
     “Man has hardened his heart to Us. I have roamed the world in tears; I have come to earth in desperation. The children shall no longer be subject to the evil. Many children will be removed from the earth. Parents, how have you prepared your children? The plague that I spoke of will now come upon you. Perhaps in this way you will remove the veil of darkness that covers your spirit.

Veronica – Now Our Lady says to take your Rosary and pray the fifteen decades first for the children. And from now until December you will pray for the welfare of the Holy Father.
All mothers will now see that their children remain close to the sacraments. Many children will be taken out of the world in the plague. Many parents will shed bitter tears, but it will be too late. (7-25-72)
