War has been declared upon the family, upon the church, the synagogue, and upon every religious institution that we hold sacred. Whether you know it or not, you are involved in the greatest social/civil war in American history. You're living through it. Now, you can walk around with your hat on backwards like a moron, watch sports, or play video games and think this is all a big joke, or you can engage yourself in this war--which is what I've chosen to do.

Just two days after 75 percent of Oklahomans overwhelmingly voted to reject same-sex marriage, a Federal lawsuit was filed against the Oklahoma Defense of Marriage initiative. Matt Daniels, president of the Alliance for Marriage, says this attack against the will of the people is just the beginning. He anticipates "a tsunami of litigation designed to strike down marriage in different states across the country--including every state where voters approved state DOMA [Defense of Marriage Amendment] initiatives."

Why do the left-wing radicals continue their assault upon this cornerstone of civilization? In spite of what they claim, it's certainly not about equal rights. Homosexuals already have all of the rights or every other citizen. They're protected not only by the U.S. Constitution, but by many other hard-fought civil-rights battles. It's not about property rights, because even unmarried persons who are not partners have equal rights in the joint ownership of property.

So what is this about?

It's about destroying the family.

Whether you know it or not, the radical fringe of the homosexual movement is socialist. Some are communists and, as such, they wish to abolish the family unit so that children will be raised by the state. That's the centerpiece of communism as articulated by Karl Marx in the Communist Manifesto:

The bourgeois family will vanish as a matter of course. Do you charge us for wanting to stop the exploitation of children by their parents? To this crime we plead guilty. But you will say that we destroyed the most hallowed of relations when we replaced home education by social ... The bourgeois clap track about the family and education, about the hallowed correlation of parent and child, becomes all the more disgusting ... by the action of Modern Industry.

You see, although most people see this as a battle to protect the dignity of marriage between a man and a woman, it goes well beyond the apparent. Just as radical ethnic gangsters espouse civil rights as their goal, using members of their ethnic community as soldiers in their assault upon capitalism and Western Civilization, so, too, do the radical socialist gays use ordinary homosexuals as their foot soldiers.

This radical movement was handed a stunning defeat at the polls in November of 2004 not because the average voter understood the larger battle they were engaged in. But because on a deeply instinctual level they understood that this is the final battle for the survival of the family camouflaged in the somber tones of the civil rights struggle.
