Miraculous photo taken at the Vigil of March 26, 1983. Two Our Lady of the Roses Shrine pilgrims (Anne Whalen and Christine Kelly) hold aloft candles at the end of the three hour Rosary. Our Lady has asked that the vigils of prayer end by the recitation of the prayer: “Mary, Light of the world, pray for us! Our Lady of the Roses, pray for us! Mary, Help of Mothers, pray for us!" Notice the miraculous Rosary bead pattern that is frequently in the miraculous photos. Our Lady has told us that the Rosary will be a major source of protection for the United States, and will lessen the punishment upon our country: “The beads of prayer will be the major instrument for the lessening of the Chastisement upon your country. The plan of the Father is for the cleansing. All must go through this crucible of suffering. However, those of well spirit shall have no fear, knowing they are under the protection of My mantle."
