Dearest Friend of Our Lady,

Thirty years ago on August 5, 1974, Our Lady said: "It is our greatest fondest wish that the Message from Heaven be heeded.  You do not have thirty years to spread this Message, My child.  So work with great haste."  

    Let us pray that our nation turns to Our Lady of the Roses, to save us from the coming terrorism.

 

Islamic attacks in Holland and Germany…

Investigators said there was no proof that the attack in Sinsheim, Germany, a town with a population of 35,000, was connected to attacks against mosques in Holland that erupted after the slaying on Nov. 2 of Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh. His death is linked to a film he made that criticized the treatment of women in Islam. The main suspect in this case is a Muslim.
    Since van Gogh's murder, the Netherlands has had to come to grips with hidden tension between the Dutch and Muslim communities. The incident has prompted a chain of revenge attacks on mosques, religious schools and churches in the last two weeks.

Philippine Bishops ban homosexuals…

"I will not stand for My priests who condone homosexuality and allow it in My priesthood!  I will not stand for My priests who allow the murder of the unborn with their permissiveness!  I will not stand by and allow My priesthood to be destroyed!" - Jesus, June 18, 1982

    An updated manual for priestly formation released by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has expressly stated the Church’s disapproval of gay priests and seminarians.

    "Issues regarding homosexuality need to be calmly surfaced and clarified," said the 63-page Philippine Program for Priestly Formation, which puts emphasis on the human development of seminarians.

   Pope John Paul II said the Roman Catholic Church had to be much more careful not to let men with "deviations in their affections" enter the priesthood to preserve the Church.
     He also re-affirmed the Church's rule on celibacy, saying it should not be seen as a "useless" imposition but a vital part of a tradition in which the priest offers himself unconditionally to God.

 

Locusts swarm across Egypt...

"Wars are a punishment for man's sins; famines, pestilence, great heat, the plague. The major catastrophe to mankind is approaching. Warnings have been given and gone by unnoticed. Man continues upon his way of evil.  Many are selling their souls to get to the head." - Jesus, April 9, 1977 

    Cairo, Egypt - Swarms of pink locusts swept through the Egyptian capital on Wednesday, evoking the biblical description of the plagues which struck in the time of Moses.  The swarms of millions of locusts flew high above tall towers or swooped down onto tree lined streets, where scared pedestrians stomped on them or ran for cover.  The flying insects arrived from neighboring Libya after devouring the countryside in central and western Africa in past months. But locust experts said they were unlikely to wreak similar havoc in Egypt, where agriculture is a cornerstone of the economy.

Wicca's World of 6,500 Witches comes to town...

More than 6,500 witches from across the world arrived in Croydon, England last weekend for Witchfest 2004 - the largest witchcraft festival of its type.  

    But the gathering was not without its controversy, as a small protest was held at the Fairfield on Saturday morning.  One demonstrator stood outside with a board which read: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved."  Last year, street preachers flew over from America to protest outside the event.

    Inbaal, a 30-year-old Wiccan witch who lives in the Addington area, said: "The protest was very peaceful, although a megaphone was used which was not very good manners.  "They tried to approach me with fliers and probably thought they were doing a good thing."  The two-day event boasted a medley of mystics, stalls, talks, bands, and performances.  They also had a pre-Witchfest special performance of the Circus of Horrors the night before.

Al Qaeda plan to smuggle nukes from Mexico into the United States...

Sharif al-Masri, an Egyptian, who was captured in late August near Pakistan's border with Iran and Afghanistan, said al-Qaeda has considered plans to "smuggle nuclear materials to Mexico, then operatives would carry material into the U.S.," according to the report, parts of which were read in TIME Magazine. Masri says his family, seeking refuge from al-Qaeda hunters, is now in Iran.  It is time to be sure to have the crucifixes on all the outside doors of our homes.

Our Lady warned Ted Kennedy…

She warned Senator Kennedy many years ago that unless he defended his Catholic Faith in Washington, he would be condemned to hell:

    Years ago I saw Senator Kennedy at a National Religious Broadcasters convention and told him, “You must stand up for your faith.”  He just gave me the brush off and went on his way.  Please pray for Senator Kennedy.

Our Lady-“My children, not only with the canned foods will you store just food, but you must also make known to your families and your friends that they had best keep blankets and water in tight containers; for there will be on the onset of the Chastisement, there will be nothing that you can buy due to contamination.” (7-1-85)
