Lies of Feminism (a Few of Them)...

Lie #1. Women earn less than men because of wage discrimination (the "wage gap")

Feminists claim that women earn only 77 cents for every dollar that men make. Christina Hoff Sommers calls this the "wage gap myth", which is calculated by adding the median earnings of all women working full time, divided by the median earnings of all men working full time.

This calculation is not an apples to apple comparison. It does not take into consideration occupation, education, position, or hours worked per week. The wage difference is due to individual career choices between men and women. Men as a whole more frequently work overtime; men as a whole will enter more dangerous, higher paying professions; men as a whole will more likely enter higher paying professions than women. Furthermore, women outnumber men in four out of five of the worst paying professions (counseling and psychology; early childhood education, human services and community organization, and social work). So again, not an apples to apples comparison. The difference is due to career choices, not wage discrimination.

Lie #2. feminism is about gender equality

The women against feminism website hits the nail on the head: "A 'movement' that advocates for the rights of one gender over another is sexist and inequal by nature."

As Kellyanne Conway put it in her CPAC interview, feminism "seems to be very anti-male and it certainly is very pro-abortion."

Men receive higher jail sentences than women, for the same crime. If feminism is about gender equality, why the silence about this monstrous injustice?  From the March 17, 2015 article entitled, "The Sentencing Gap: Why are Men More Likely to Go to Prison?":

"According to a recent study by Sonja Starr, an assistant law professor at the University of Michigan, men on average receive 63 percent longer prison sentences than women who commit comparable crimes. Reinforcing data accumulated from numerous other surveys on the subject, Starr also found that women are twice as likely to avoid incarceration if convicted of a crime – which may explain why 90% of the prison population is male – and estimated that the gender gap in sentencing could be as much as six times as large as that between white and non-whites…."

Other failures by feminist's supposed quest for gender equality include silence on these topics:

"Feminists are utterly silent when it comes to men being victims of any gender disparity. Men comprise 92 percent of work fatalities, 94 percent of work suicides, are 3.5 times more likely to commit suicide, comprise 77 percent of homicide victims, and represent 82 percent of childhood custody losses." Modern-day feminism isn't even about women's rights. Why the silence about the many rights denied women in Muslim countries? Why the silence against Sharia law, "honor killings," and second-class treatment of women in other countries?

Karen Straughan, interviewed by Cassie Jaye in The Red Pill movie, mentioned that feminism sounds like a religion. Its followers label feminism as the source of all good, and patriarchy as the source of all evil.

Daphne Patai and Noretta Koertge affirm that today’s radical feminism is "Not merely about equal rights for women … Feminism aspires to be much more than this. It bids to be a totalizing scheme resting on a grand theory, one that is as all-inclusive as Marxism, as assured of its ability to unmask hidden meanings as Freudian psychology, and as fervent in its condemnation of apostates as evangelical fundamentalism. Feminist theory provides a doctrine of original sin: The world’s evil’s originate in male supremacy." (Daphne Patai and Noretta Koertge, Professing Feminism: Cautionary Tales from the Strange World of Women’s Studies, p. 183)

Feminist is not about gender equality; feminism is about power.

Lie #3. More women are sexually assaulted in the U.S. than men; rape is only a women's issue

The UK Daily Mail reported,

"More men are raped in the U.S. than women, according to figures that include sexual abuse in prisons. In 2008, it was estimated 216,000 inmates were sexually assaulted while serving time, according to the Department of Justice figures. That is compared to 90,479 rape cases outside of prison." ("More men are raped in the US than women, figures on prison assaults reveal," October 8, 2013)

According to an article by Hanna Rosin, "Last year [2013] the National Crime Victimization Survey turned up a remarkable statistic. In asking 40,000 households about rape and sexual violence, the survey uncovered that 38 percent of incidents were against men."

With the inclusion of prison statistics, the U.S. appears to be the one country in the world where more men than women are sexually assaulted. If there is a "rape culture" anywhere in the United States, it is in the men's prisons.

Lie #4.  One in five women will be raped in college

Christina Hoff Sommers writes:

FACTS: This incendiary figure is everywhere in the media today. Journalists, senators and even President Obama cite it routinely. Can it be true that the American college campus is one of the most dangerous places on earth for women?

     The one-in-five figure is based on the Campus Sexual Assault Study, commissioned by the National Institute of Justice and conducted from 2005 to 2007. Two prominent criminologists, Northeastern University’s James Alan Fox and Mount Holyoke College’s Richard Moran, have noted its weaknesses:

     “The estimated 19% sexual assault rate among college women is based on a survey at two large four-year universities, which might not accurately reflect our nation's colleges overall. In addition, the survey had a large non-response rate, with the clear possibility that those who had been victimized were more apt to have completed the questionnaire, resulting in an inflated prevalence figure.”

Fox and Moran also point out that the study used an overly broad definition of sexual assault. Respondents were counted as sexual assault victims if they had been subject to “attempted forced kissing” or engaged in intimate encounters while intoxicated. So what is the factual, reported percentage of female college student rape? 6.1 in 1000, or 0.61 percent. ("Rape And Sexual Assault Among College-Age Females, 1995-2013," Bureau of Justice Statistics)

Sam Dittmar writes: "The Bureau of Justice Statistics determined the reported rate of sexual assault on female students to be 0.61 percent . Many sexual assaults go unreported, so the actual rate is likely much higher, but unless it’s 41 times greater than the reported, sexual assault is nowhere near as prevalent as the feminist movement portrays." Lie #5.  Women are less abusive than men

Erin Pizzey, founder of the first internationally recognized women's shelter, noted that 60% of her women were as violent as the men they left. She stated that "of the first hundred women who came into my refuge, sixty percent were as violent as the men they left. Or, they were violent and the men weren’t." (Dean Esmay, "Refuting 40 years of lies about domestic violence," December 19, 2012)

Joachim Krueger Ph.D. writes:

"Women are more likely to hit, kick, or threaten their partners with a weapon. When violence occurs in a couple, usually both partners participate. When only one partner is violent, it is twice as likely to be the woman than the man. Many people find this hard to believe. But take a look around or check out the research literature, such as:

Archer, J. (2000). Sex differences in aggression between heterosexual partners: A meta-analytic review. Psychological Bulletin, 126, 651-680.

Straus, M. A. (1999). The controversy over domestic violence by women: A methodological, theoretical, and sociology of science analysis. In X. B. Arriaga & S. Oskamp (eds.), Violence in intimate relationships (pp. 17-44). Thousand Oaks, CA: Sage. ("The Violent Sex," Joachim Krueger Ph.D., July 9, 2017)

In a 2001 study reported in Journal of Family Psychology, findings indicated that 9.4% of men and 13.2% of women perpetrated frequent physical aggression toward their partners. Contrary to expectations, 13% of men and 9% of women, indicated that they were physically injured at least once. Authors report "2% of the men and none of the women indicate that they had been hurt by their partners between five and nine times." (Capaldi, D. M. & Owen, L. D., Journal of Family Psychology, 15 (3), 425-440)

A 1997 study reported in Social Development revealed that 31% of men and 36% of women engaged "in an act of physical aggression against their current partner." (Capaldi, D. M. & Crosby, L. (1997), Social Development, 6, 184-206).

More than 200 studies "examining assaults by women on their spouses or male partners" have been listed at the California State University Long Beach website, containing many other similar statistics (Read more).

Lie #6. Women can successfully raise children alone

Children from fatherless homes are*:

- 15.3 times more likely to have behavioral disorders;

- 4.6 times more likely to commit suicide;

- 6.6 times more likely to become teenaged mothers;

- 24.3 times more likely to run away;

- 6.3 times more likely to be in a state-operated institution;

- 10.8 times more likely to commit rape;

- 6.6 times more likely to drop out of school;

- 15.3 times more likely to end up in prison while a teenage;

- 73% of adolescent murderers come from mother only homes;

- Daughters who live in mother only homes are 92% more likely to divorce**

Lie #7. Women are always better caregivers toward children

"In 2012, Child Protective Services estimated that 686,000 children were victims of maltreatment in the United States... 45% of the total number of perpetrators were men. And 54%? Women." ("5 Reasons Why Feminism Needs to Address Child Abuse," October 17, 2014)

Time magazine reported: " And women are at least as likely as men to kill their children—more so if one counts killings of newborns—and account for more than half of child maltreatment perpetrators." (Time magazine, "The Surprising Truth About Women and Violence," June 25, 2014)

And then there is abortion...

Lie #8. You would have to be anti-woman to be anti-feminist

Using the gender card is a tired, knee-jerk reaction against those who reject the substantial pack of lies that is feminism.  How is it sexist to disagree with feminism, when many of the greatest opponents are women?  That is why Lauren Southern, "Roaming Millenial", "ABitOfBritt", Erin Pizzey, Karen Straughan, Christina Hoff Sommers, Kellyanne Conway and Cassie Jaye (to name just a few) are so effective. The gender card won't work on them.

Lie #9. Women are happier with feminism

Women are less happy now than they were in the 1970s. The UK Guardian reported:

"But while women are living longer, it’s unclear whether their wellbeing is showing comparable strides. As women gain political, economic and social freedoms, one would expect that they should feel even more contented relative to men. But this isn’t so. The “paradox of declining female happiness” was pointed out by economists Betsey Stevenson and Justin Wolfers, who also happen to share a house and kids. They analyzed the happiness trends of US citizens between 1970 and 2005 and found a surprising result. Stevenson and Wolfers discovered that American women rated their overall life satisfaction higher than men in the 1970s. Thereafter, women’s happiness scores decreased while men’s scores stayed roughly stable. By the 1990s, women were less happy than men. This relative unhappiness softened after the turn of the century, but men continue to enjoy a higher sense of subjective wellbeing that is at least as high — if not higher — than women’s." In 2009, the UK DailyMail reported that despite forty years of feminism, women are less happy:

"Despite having more opportunities than ever before, they have a lower sense of well-being and life satisfaction, it found. The study, The Paradox of Declining Female Happiness, said the same was true for women of different ages and whether or not they were married or had children. It said the results appeared surprising given that modern women had been liberated from their traditional 1950s role of housewife." ("Women are more unhappy  despite 40 years of feminism, claims study", UK DailyMail, June 1, 2009)

Furthermore, the suicide rate in women between 45 and 64 increased 63% in the 15-year period, 1999 to 2014. ("US suicide rates up, especially among women, but down for black males," CNN, April 22, 2016)

Older women are also drinking much more:

"More older American women than ever are drinking — and drinking hard, a new study shows. Most troubling was the finding that the prevalence of binge drinking among older women is increasing dramatically, far faster than it is among older men, the researchers noted. The difference was striking: Among men, the average prevalence of binge drinking remained stable from 1997 to 2014, while it increased an average of nearly 4 percent per year among women, the researchers found." Conclusion

Taylor Caldwell noted that " The strongest sign of the decay of a nation is the feminization of men and the masculinization of women." ("They’re Spoiling Eve's Great Con Game," American Opinion, September 1970, p. 8)

St. Augustine writes, "if you were left to yourself, you could only be wicked." (St. Augustine, Serm. 47, 12-14, De ovibus: CCL 41, 582-584) Something is good when it acts according to its nature. Feminists have rejected their God-given feminine nature, hating men and themselves as well. The deaths by abortion far outnumber the deaths in all World Wars. In the U.S., women are the main instigators of divorce, and child battery. And in Great Britain, women now wear the infamous crown as the most foul-mouthed of the sexes.

Today's women need humility and conversion. Without acknowledging their own faults, asking for God's forgiveness and humbly asking for His grace, women will not escape the slavery of their own making.

The battle between men and women has been instigated by satan himself, for the fall of both. In God's plan, men and women are to support and protect each other physically and spiritually. When they do not, men and women are more vulnerable to the attacks of the devil, and in greater danger of eternal damnation. Men and women are not the enemies; the devil and the willful rejection of God's laws are the enemies.

The perfect woman, the Blessed Virgin Mary, is the greatest opponent to feminism of any woman on the planet. She stands as a beacon of light and guidance for all those women who are lost in the lies of feminism.
